I am debating whether to have pendants or not too. I like the nice clean line and feel that the pendants will create a sort of barrier between the rooms. On the other hand I see pendants in other people's houses and love them. I think they are something I like in other houses and not mine lol Haha I think that is me too :-p love them in others houses but when I hung it up in there I thought I like the open look more Re: Our Forever Home Build 115May 30, 2017 9:41 pm So a lot has happened the past few days.. All of our lights are in, fans are in, ducted is in, toilets, sinks, taps, toilet roll holders ect, door handles are on and outdoor lights and power points are on, our bricks also have had an acid wash! I almost cried going in yesterday when the lights and fans turned on lol I went there and the window we left wedged open a little was shut as well as all the windows and was devastated I was locked out. then for some reason though I will just try the door and it was unlocked haha oops :-p we are still waiting to hear back on the brick issues as we are so not happy with that, they are so bad.. and the grout is 2 different colours around the whole house, but apart from that things are moving along great. I am not sure what's next, I am carpet and appliances then outdoor tiling, and wardrobe fit outs then I don't know what will be left as all seems done to me, although I know nothing about building houses if you couldn't tell :-p Re: Our Forever Home Build 116May 30, 2017 9:56 pm Sounds like it's all coming along quickly Ladybugs, you'll have a house before you know it! Re: Our Forever Home Build 118May 30, 2017 10:13 pm Ladybugs2 Ezza78 allblaqk Gosh that kitchen looks soooo nice! I love the fact you have a built in rangehood, I like that but it seems to be against the trend at the moment. And love your niche tiles! Your kitchen looks fab and doesn't need the pendants. Especially because of the window. Love your bathroom tiles? What are they? They look like the same tiles we have chosen, Belga Grey? Thank you so mjuch <3 Yep they are Belga grey, are you using them in your whole house or just bathroom ? Just the bathrooms. I was worried they would look too dark but they look great! Do u choose sheen or matt finish? Thanks!
