SS suggesting to get gas meter orgnised for 3 weeks time just after bricks are up..... made a few phone calls and its a minimum 12-16 weeks and no one will go near the site until construction fence goes down. The 3rd Perry build just had its entire frame and windows put in today (started and finished today) and all that happened on ours was a few bits of steel got leant against the house. One of the other Corals had their steel frame delivered (even their roof trusses didn't go missing unlike ours), keeping a close eye on how long that takes for ammo later on. Who was this through? I had to organize our meter and it was legit a week or 2. Worst part was AGL after my meter was on Building with Perry Homes: viewtopic.php?t=84756 Re: Noosa 26 @ Cliftleigh Meadows 109Jul 02, 2017 10:07 am Was dealing with Energy Australia, but they made it sound like a Jemena Gas as they are the supplier and that everybody takes that long. Also doesn't help when I leave a message for SS (or whoever has phone while he is away) don't even ring back by end of bussiness. Try again Monday ten ring Area manager for plumbers details as I need that for forms. We will have a fair bit on gas, not sure of how much we will use, but the 58-70c daily access charge is a bit harsh for mains. Re: Noosa 26 @ Cliftleigh Meadows 110Jul 05, 2017 7:18 pm As expected the electrician didn't do what we wanted for network, just want conduit run as I'll do cabling later with the cables I decide and not the base cat5e everyone keeps trying to force on us. They ran cat5e and then ran them into garage, not the activity room, so they got 0 from 2. Will get a phone call Friday to come and explain where and what I want done. They also relocated some light switches from the clipsal plan, the 2 we spotted were the bathroom and bed2 moved them onto the wall that the door opens onto. Some photos from last few days though! They almost got it 99% right the second time, just got to sneak in on Sunday and drill a hole in frame and do the office (activity room) so it is easier to run extra cables in the future. The activity room they have the cables running down from roof and then diagonally through a hole in beam and then down the side, so going to drill in directly above network point and make life a million times easier later on. Batts have started to go in. And we just noticed the activity room window was smashed at some stage as they have cleaned it up but not replaced windows. The brickies snashed one of our windiws they cleaned it up and the ss had it replaced a few week later. I was done just after lockup stage https://www.homeone.com.au/member/bribiebell Re: Noosa 26 @ Cliftleigh Meadows 115Jul 10, 2017 7:49 pm Visited house to sneak in extra hole for networking, and someones unlocked and left the gate wide open, looks like someone pinched some batts. We had 2 brick layers today getting a little bit of work done, it almost seems like Coral can only spare 2 people from every team for our house. Love the roof colour with your bricks Re: Noosa 26 @ Cliftleigh Meadows 118Jul 13, 2017 8:20 pm Batts were indeed pinched, didn't stop the plasterers sealing everything up, hopefully its only the roof that is incomplete as it can be rectified.
