Our SS went and picked out the faults and had them all fixed prior to our PCI. It was great that he did that as we only had 3 items to be either fixed or finished before our handover. We are booked in to have tomorrow! Re: The Jeffery Pad - Coral Homes - QLD 682Aug 07, 2017 9:08 pm HENRY Oh that's no good bribiebell not having PCI on Friday. SS said he wanted one more week to smash out the list and its now Wed and I just hope something happens today. We still do not have a email invite for pci so im holding little hope at this stage but its very frustrating that hubby has had to now book 2 fridays with no work (self employed) we dont even have a time just friday maybe 10ish On another note the SS did ring me at 2:20 on Monday and said there has been an accident on site that the final site clean was being done and the machine has hit the side of the house leaving a hole. He was going to call in some favours to get the bricks repaired urgently and he was going to fix the soffit himself. I was surprisingly a cool cat about it. I mean it is what it is cant change it and it was an accident. I asked if it will delay pci this friday and he said he hopping not and that he would do his best. He said the machine driver sent him a picture so I asked if he could forward it to me. He said sure thing and had me on speaker as he pulled the pic up on his phone. He went silent for a split second and then said.....wait for it...... "Your house isnt double brick" bahahhahahahahha It wasnt even my place hes like NEVER MIND YOUR HOUSE IS FINE! https://www.homeone.com.au/member/bribiebell Re: The Jeffery Pad - Coral Homes - QLD 684Aug 09, 2017 8:44 am bribiebell So no trades all week so far. I don't know whether to laugh or cry for you lol Re: The Jeffery Pad - Coral Homes - QLD 686Aug 09, 2017 4:03 pm Well on a very good note went past the house and all the items on the list are now done. Clean happening tomorrow but it looks like we will be on for friday!! The kitchen tap looks on a lean and as we were leaving the plumber rocked up so I took a look inside the tap is on a lean and not very stable in the sink so something will need to be done about that. I will use it several times a day Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ https://www.homeone.com.au/member/bribiebell Re: The Jeffery Pad - Coral Homes - QLD 687Aug 09, 2017 4:06 pm Oh yay!! We were like little school kids running around with no kids dripping off us. I booked them into a relief daycare day with a local center!! A few paint spot the SS pick a lot more then we did. No hanging rail in master robe which ss spotted and we never noticed it before. Raised the issue with the wobbly kitchen sink tap suggested we replace it with the standard tap and credit me the $320 for the upgrade. He said no credit as its installed so he can replace and just leave us with the upgrade to put it in the shed!! Ummm NO Thanks.. bit expensive for that so I said talk to who ever he has to otherwise I want stone and sink replaced and installed as per contract. Getting a credit for over charge on riser rings not used with septic and a credit for flush mounted smoke alarm which are actually not even Australian approved yet so clipsal should not be selling these. Window flashing to be filled which is ordered and should be fixed this afternoon. Plus bonus hubby took me to fastapasta for lunch and we went to look at some plants for landscaping ides ALL KID FREE WOOOOHOOO Also getting keys on Tuesday 15th https://www.homeone.com.au/member/bribiebell Re: The Jeffery Pad - Coral Homes - QLD 699Aug 11, 2017 6:06 pm bribiebell PCI went well today.
