Your so nice to take them cakes Maybe I should have given my tradies incentives.. they might have finished by now. Thanks Dawn, I nearly squealed when I saw the kitchen splashback . Re: Cascade Q1 - Henley Homes with Mods 106Jul 14, 2017 6:21 pm I'm going to be so sad when they remember to lock up. Stone bench tops and basins are in. Handover late August is looking to be a possibility. Or Clamshell? I love those two. It's Clamshell in the kitchen and Osprey in both bathrooms. I originally chose Wild Rice but when I saw it in a display on a big scale I thought it looked a bit brown. I changed so many things after my colour appointment and tender thankfully my admin was really good and was happy to raise multiple variations. Totally lived up to my pseudonym . I'm so scared I'm going to hate my paint colour when it goes up this week, I made a variation last week and changed from half to quarter strength in White Duck. Thanks Ezza I'm so glad I changed from brick to herringbone lay at the last minute it really has a wow factor. Very nice changes to your floor plan, love the selections Love your splash back Thanks CB . I haven't posted much because everything has gone smoothly so far, it's easy to miss. I feel bad posting sometimes when I see all the dramas you and others have had. Re: Cascade Q1 - Henley Homes with Mods 115Jul 20, 2017 11:36 pm Thanks Dawn, sharing my journey with all of you has made it far more enjoyable. I think I would have driven my partner and family crazy without H1. I met my SS and blinds person at the block to measure up. Painting has started so everything was taped up inside. In the end we didn't measure up because the window sills were still wet so he will give me a quote from the plans. I couldn't manage to chose a colour yet, I want to see the finished paint first. I did manage to select the type of fabric so he could cost it up. Ugh I'm so indecisive and not confident in my choices. The facade windows/door look so much better after the first coat of stain. I'm still not happy with the mortar colour hopefully it dries off before handover. 1st coat of stain... I have been so busy trying to get my current home ready for the real estate photographer. It's going on the market at the end of next week with the first viewing on the 11th of August and auction on the 2nd Sept . I have repainted half the house and have had the disgusting kitchen carpet covered with vinyl, it looks much better but I hate the quad. I'm hoping buyers are less likely to notice it than the carpet. So stressful so much to do. Before and after of the kitchen carpet....
