Thanks for the advice regarding bedside tables! We're picking up the white ones on Saturday! I can't believe it has been just over a week since PCI! Just to update, we're still waiting on correct mirrors to be installed, WIR shelf changed to correct height, and internal garage door fixed. - Our wheelie bins were delivered yesterday. - The landscapers are almost finished in our front yard. It looks like there are some shrubs missing from our selections so I'm waiting until they say they're all done before I call them to ask if they've "forgotten" to plant the bird of paradise - We're still waiting on our letterbox to be delivered from AV Jennings (estate developers) - hopefully that is soon Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ The blank spot is where the bird of paradise should be planted...a bit obvious?? We have a Dyson animal hair normal vacuum and tossing up if we should get the stick or a Roomba Is the roomba one of the ones that goes on its own? If so we were told by sales guy it's not great with dog hair (esp GRs -which I think you have one too) they get too clogged with their hair I really wanted one. Re: Newlyweds First Home - Hallmark Homes Coomera QLD 538Mar 25, 2017 5:21 pm Just watch out with roomba style robot vacuum cleaners on carpet..... they rip it up after a while - due to the way they spin/ turn. Ours destroyed our new carpet over the last 2- 3 years. It's good on tiles though. Re: Newlyweds First Home - Hallmark Homes Coomera QLD 539Mar 29, 2017 9:07 pm Hey GC...! How's everything going with your new home? How's the decorating? Are you all unpacked? Was thinking of you (generally when I'm doing daunting tasks like unpacking lol) x M A R C O O L A 3 2 - Coral homes Hey Skye! How are you? We've been slowly unpacking and decorating on the weekends as we're both working full time. In hindsight, I would have loved to take a week or two off work to settle in! We ended up choosing blue/green accent colours throughout the house as it just seems to complement the grey tones so nicely. We still haven't gotten around to turfing the backyard due to bad weather. We were planning on doing it this weekend but might have to push it back another week with this hideous Cyclone Debbie weather! We're also still waiting on our blinds. Should be installed next week according to the company Excuse the old sheets hanging over the windows - we needed some privacy while waiting for our blinds So glad we got these bedside tables, they suit the space so well Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Our WIR is way more spacious that I imagined!
