We celebrated by doing some furniture planing today - so fun! BUT we had a major freak out when looking at our personal and work scheduling for December (crazy hectic and no time for sorting our current items). We plan a major declutter before we move. Out with the old in with the new kind of mentality... Now we are feeling like we are running out of time to sort through our home items and clean up our rental and sell off old items ect. Anyone else feel like this? How exciting is furniture planning!! I'm doing the same thing at the moment. We literally have an entire house to furnish as this will be our first place together (currently living with the inlaws). Which furniture items are you planning on replacing? Today we just learnt that Super Amart do layby, although it's only for 8wks they will redo the layby after the term is up so that we can leave it their until we move in I'm pretty much replacing everything except my fridge we just realised we need to buy 3 lounge suits We decided not to set up our media room until we can build up money again (well and truly after moving in) that should help Some items we are buying second hand (like our outdoor setting from the inlaws) We decided to buy ourselves a new front loader for Xmas... rather then gifts for each other. We are both happy with that. Where have you been finding most of your items?? Any good online stores you know of for decor stuff? Will you buy before or after handover? Re: Coral homes - Marcoola - Pimpama 139Nov 27, 2016 6:18 pm Appliances online deliver and are sometimes cheaper, I have bought all new beds and white goods just paid off as I go..... Most stores are really good if you explain your situation and will allow you to pay then order towards the end..... Decor items I am trying to leave till we move in to see what goes with what and see what's coming in new stock, but god it's hard. I am trying to stock up on towels and kitchen thingys tea towels new dinner sets. I make a new lay by each month. No room in garage but trying to get as much as we can for internal now as after handover will be for exterior plants etc Milestone coral homes modified stradebroke 32 Re: Coral homes - Marcoola - Pimpama 140Nov 27, 2016 6:35 pm Milestone Appliances online deliver and are sometimes cheaper, I have bought all new beds and white goods just paid off as I go..... Im also hopeless when it comes to rugs and we need at least 2 Plants and landscaping- I'm lost their as well Sooo much to dooooo!!!! Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13771 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 4345 Ask for references and speak to them. If they are defensive or try to avoid the request, walk. 1 74702 |
