I know our SS is trying but the roofing company they use is a disaster. Any ideas who I contact to find out how many rain days etc there has been? We are currently in week 37 so this set back will put us back. Do they count Christmas shutdown when they are over time? I am away for work at the moment and don't have our contract with me. To the best of my knowledge they don't count the Christmas shutdown in their time frame. Sorry Fee121, that's so disappointing. Thanks Scardycat. We are very disappointed but you can't sweat the things you can't change (I am trying to convince myself ) I have counted the rain days on that site but I wondered what is the Rawson figure? Does even 1mm count?? I knew they didn't count Christmas during the build but what about when the building is over the contracted completion date? Hope this helps Fee. Re: Rawson Homes - General Thread 347Oct 06, 2017 2:07 pm Can anyone give me a rough idea on the cost to upgrade to Caesarstone in the powder room? It's a Stroud 30 if that makes a difference, and we're going with raven which is not in the standard range anyway so I'm expecting $$$$ Hi CG, Thought I will help here, I have spoken to the colour consultants, and unfortunately, we are not able to answer this as there are too many variables to consider. For example, key or lux, the size, the thickness, promotion etc. The best thing to do would be to contact your colour consultant if you are building with us already, otherwise feel free to send through your floor plan to us via this platform and we will be more than happy to look into it and give you an estimate. Hope that helps! Kind regards, Tak - Rawson Homes Re: Rawson Homes - General Thread 349Oct 06, 2017 2:26 pm Lux orange carpet promotion. 20mm. We have it included in the bathroom as you said but the powder room seems to have escaped the promo. ahh, I misread you original post where you said powder room... our poweder room just has a floating vanity, so no laminate, or stone.. but I wouldnt expect it to be to expensive. (i was really happy with our laundry price) Re: Rawson Homes - General Thread 353Oct 06, 2017 2:36 pm CG Scardycat Lux orange carpet promotion. 20mm. We had included a 20mm cesearstone vanity top and then upgraded to a premium colour (Fresh Concrete) in our powder room but still 20mm and it cost an extra $150. Re: Rawson Homes - General Thread 355Oct 06, 2017 3:36 pm At the end of the day the price is the price. If you want something ask for it and ask for alternatives if you think price may be an issue. As part of the process you will get a quote and you can then tick and flick what you want and can afford. They won’t charge you for asking. I personally after having read some of the horror stories in this board how cheap Rawson actually were for changing most things. In our appointment we asked for everything we wanted and had multiple prices for different options provided. We then did the tick and flick based on what we could afford! Most upgrades were fairly reasonable....... Re: Rawson Homes - General Thread 359Oct 09, 2017 6:08 pm Does anybody know what the Hills Home Hub actually do? We have FTTP in our house and I have a Telstra Getaway modem to set up the nbn/internet connection with. Where does this modem go? In the garage with the hub? Does the WAN cable goes to a Cat6 data point inside the house? I'm not much of a techie person. Any help would be greatly appreciated Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Rawson Homes - General Thread 360Oct 09, 2017 6:33 pm Hi MS. Add you can see the hub/ LAN switch in your wall rack connects to all your wall plates inside the house. Any gateway needs to be colocated with this switch otherwise you wouldn't have enough ports to connect all your equipment. It should be something like this. Nbn lead in -> gateway -> LAN switch -> wall outlets You should check your detail drawings, it may show downpipe within brick pier. 14 14099 Just started the Build process for Chifley 42 with Rawson homes, will keep you all posted with the Build progress. 0 2451 Hi, Apologies - I know there is plenty out there on this but struggling to put together the puzzle.
