Fingers double crossed for you! Your facade looks great, I love the grey pebble render with the pillar colour and the fence is going to look perfect when you put the slats in. It all works really well together. Have you decided what colour the slats are going to be? Re: {Dawn} SE Melb Build - Handover Countdown! 1770Jul 21, 2017 6:05 pm Lol Charli!! It's so awkward trying to take photos without getting the spotlight in there. I'm having second thoughts about the front fencing. I originally wanted a wood look aluminium slat, but now I'm wondering if I should go with colorbond to match the guttering, etc. One of many things to think about!! I'm going to try and come up with a list today.. Re: {Dawn} SE Melb Build - Handover Countdown! 1771Jul 21, 2017 6:20 pm This is what I was thinking... I will also be doing my side gate out of this material Re: {Dawn} SE Melb Build - Handover Countdown! 1772Jul 21, 2017 6:37 pm Can I have a vote, what are people's preference for my front fence? I think it looks warm and earthly. Re: {Dawn} SE Melb Build - Handover Countdown! 1774Jul 21, 2017 7:06 pm I like the deep ocean or the wood look. Is it possible to do it in ironstone or even wallaby? Re: {Dawn} SE Melb Build - Handover Countdown! 1776Jul 21, 2017 8:14 pm I think a darker colour or the wood grain look would suit best. You go too light and your rendered fence pillars won't pop like they do now Building in Stone Ridge with CMA - Follow my build: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=85842 Re: {Dawn} SE Melb Build - Handover Countdown! 1777Jul 21, 2017 8:20 pm I'm leaning towards the wood look now after seeing my little mock ups XD Nah they don't do ironstone or basalt limit colorbond colours.. in a colour like my pillars it looks good too. I think Deep Ocean is a little too bright blue. Also have to pick my side gate, was thinking black edging with wood look.. like this.. The black might look a bit out of place with your surfmist windows/garage and basalt gutters. Wish I was allowed to have a fence.
