Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Sep 13, 2016 6:06 pm Hi Everyone Just need some advice to see if anyone has been told the same thing by their builder. We just had our slab laid down yesterday and the supervisor told us that unless our neighbour puts up their retaining wall our house construction will be put on hold!!? We are on a slope so he said that they won't be able to do the external plumbing and won't be able to back fill because the retaining wall isn't up. Has anyone every been told this? I read in our contract that it can only be put on hold if its the owners retaining wall which in this case isn't ours. I really don't want our house to be put on hold because of this.
