Nice colour choice - I think grey is the trend now - which stain colour did you choose for the front door

How did you go or are you still in shock?[/quote] Actually Rachel the day went better than we could have expected. A lot of our upgrades came back cheaper than the price book they gave us on the Cosham info day. The prices for the extended landing to the stairs, extra shower head, Smeg upgrade was way less than what we budgeted for. The most surprising thing was we were provided lunch and proper coffee . Also with our fall being approx 1.3m we thought anything less than $30k was a win so when our presenter told us site cost was just over $18k I nearly fell out of my chair in (good) shock. That's not bad! Savings...or budget for more lighting ? For a KDR they're estimating around $40k but short of them needing hazmat suits and gold-plated equipment I can't understand why! Fall is less than 1 m and I have reasonably stable soil - hopefully it will come out closer to yours. Our presenter is Tony, but they switched our Cosham presenter on the day so it may change. That is a very good price for your site. I had asked Henley for a quote for site cost for a block in hunt club last year with similar fall side ways and it was around 30 to 40k quoted. Since u budgeted 30k it means those 12k can go on nice upgrades. I think mainvue were giving last year double glazing free which means come contract time u may save money again for raised ceilings - it cost us around $1200 to upgrade the batts for meeting 6 star rating - Arden gave double glaze and awning windows free to bed3 and bed4. So when is your contract. We r still awaiting compliance and having signed our building contract almost 3 months back growing a bit impatient. It will be interesting to watch I think our build might start around same time follow my build Arden homes Votivo 37 iin south east: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=88622 Re: Building an Aegean230 with Mainvue. 159Aug 20, 2017 2:42 pm Firsttime - we got lunch and coffee at our colour appointment - had others watching and wondering why we were being fed and watered, so to speak and they weren't. I think that it's part of the Mainview - Henley Reserve treatment. Tender and contract we were in and out in a couple of hours for both, so no food. What took the longest for contract was signing each and every damn page for a few copies of the contract. Well done on the site costs - that amazing! Scott Lol Scott, they break down the cost of the site expenses at tender so it gives you a good idea how they can up with the final figure. In saying that I questioned a few things as they seemed ridiculously expensive. You'd better be getting a slab made out of gold for that price . KDR are notoriously expensive for site costs due too so many factors (neighbours trees, demo, 2nd soil and survey, boundary survey, traffic management, overhead power etc. Make them justify their prices and even get a few quotes to see if their costs are reasonable. go upvc window frames ensure insulation under colorbond. not just sarking, lighter color roof also not sure if you have seen this viewtopic.php?t=5823 last couple of pages… 4 110564 Even if it's not being sub-divided and you want to keep it as Torrens title, you will still need to talk to a town planner or Council themselves, to see if they will allow… 1 11035 |
