Re: New Build with Henley ( Palace Q1) 226Oct 25, 2016 2:25 pm stayxtrue Yep part of the lighting pack is those 2 dimmers however I am thinking I would like to add one to the living room and dining room as well, sometimes I like light but it just becomes too much at times as well. We were going to do the flooring after but decided to go for the new promotion, we still get th kitchen upgrade minus the smug which we will upgrade and then the base flooring, but we will upgrade these, it saves as a lot of money this way so we are happy with this and doing the sums was saving us around 6k to spend on other things Don't think we added any dimmers, but we did add a lot of switches so it was 2-3 downlights per switch so we can turn off some of the lighting as needed. In two of the larger bedrooms where they have two battens, we gave a switch per batten. In the Master there are 3 switches, one for sliding robe down light and two for the room to turn on/off half a room at a time. I don't think I've ever seen grey date! I used to flip houses 8 years ago and always stuck to grey and white and the kitchen and bathrooms still look great and on trend! A real winner in style longevity! Did you end up getting any of the electrical packs or did you just add on lights where needed? I left the lighting points and switches up to my husband. But I will put up a plan of our electrical shortly! Re: New Build with Henley ( Palace Q1) 232Oct 25, 2016 6:23 pm We had the deluxe package $1k with nbn connection, alarm and doorbell. Then at electrical, we added on as needed, spent $6k. I was disappointed we weren't given an electrical plan of our home prior to the appointment, but we managed to get everything we needed and in the place we wanted. Don't forget a data point and location for landline phone, we forgot this and had to do another variation but at no cost. We put data points where TVs are and in some bedrooms of heavy internet users. We put 3 floodlights at back wall of house in middle height position so they shone onto backyard for night play for the boys as planning to get basketball hoop and concrete. Added exhaust fan in laundry Re: New Build with Henley ( Palace Q1) 235Oct 25, 2016 10:05 pm spice girl Mclaren77 spice girl [quote="stayxtrue"]Yep part of the lighting pack is those 2 dimmers however I am thinking I would like to add one to the living room and dining room as well, sometimes I like light but it just becomes too much at times as well. We didn't do any extra switches ( hope it's not a big deal)? Hi Quiggs, we are going with a gloss porcelain tile called ocean white. Floor tiles to downstairs only will be done by us after handover. So just trying to decide what to do Hi, If you give a set of criteria as to what means 'good' to you, it'll give others prompts to respond. We considered Henley early on but there were two factors that… 1 10440 Thank you so much everyone. This all makes a lot of sense. I guess when you talk to a builder who butters up everything to look very polished, you get to start believing… 7 17516 |
