Re: My Metricon Bordeaux 56 build 842Jul 19, 2017 6:29 pm Vuster, What was the colour used for the external paint? Sorry if I missed it I can't find it in the thread Kind regards Jo Re: My Metricon Bordeaux 56 build 844Jul 21, 2017 11:47 am Hi Vuster, Did you get heating and ac unit installed from metricon? If yes, was that a reverse cycle one. We are trying to decide if we go for a single unit which does both but got a quote from an external contractor for $35000-$40000. Thanks a ton!! Sam Re: My Metricon Bordeaux 56 build 845Jul 21, 2017 3:01 pm Hi Sam, yes they installed a heating/cooling unit. It was an Actron reverse cycle system. If you browse my thread you'll find a post where I've included the model and cost. Roughly 26K upgrade for 4 zone. 8 zones was 30K+. Maybe better to get Metricon do it if the external contractor is trying to charge that much, less headaches too. A few questions what model no epson projector is it? Is it 4k capable? also love the marble surround on the window. In my build that window will be aluminium and not wood as the rest of the windows. But that piece adds to the kitchen. I would call that an upgrade to the Bordeaux design. Cannot remember did it cost you anything extra to do that? Or was it Metricon's mistake and the marble their rectification Thanks Stan Re: My Metricon Bordeaux 56 build 848Jul 26, 2017 10:00 pm Hi Stanus, it's a Epson TW9300W and it's 4K capable. M didn't charge for the marble for the kitchen window but I had to pay for the butlers. They charged me a bit over 1K for the butlers. Re: My Metricon Bordeaux 56 build 849Jul 26, 2017 10:08 pm Thanks Vuster on your help regarding ther heating/cooling unit. Metricon is not allowing any external contractors before handover. So external contractor has said no since post handover installation not possible. Ur house looking great with all the final touches!! Love the outside tiles. And the kitchen stone looks amazing. Can I ask you how much you payed for the motorised screen? That's what we want to get as we want to use the theatre as a theatre as well as a second lounge. So we have the tv there too? viewtopic.php?t=86597 Re: My Metricon Bordeaux 56 build 851Jul 26, 2017 11:43 pm Vuster, House is looking good mate. You have to share the details of the bluestone to me, they are the ones we want to get for our backyard too. How big is the screen? viewtopic.php?t=86597 Re: My Metricon Bordeaux 56 build 854Jul 27, 2017 1:00 am Just the screen. I'm pretty sure you can get a screen much cheaper. Some are only a few hundred dollars. Re: My Metricon Bordeaux 56 build 855Jul 27, 2017 5:10 am The marble is divine. Curtains, arm chairs, and side table have just arrived. The arm chairs and side table are from cafe lighting. Pretty happy with them. Curtains are silk and match the display.
