Browse Forums Building A New House Re: My Metricon Bordeaux 56 build 585Mar 08, 2017 9:31 pm Stanus, ask for the plans for the actual display home. It should have all the cabinetry details on it to save you from going back and forth to the display home. Re: My Metricon Bordeaux 56 build 586Mar 08, 2017 9:49 pm Renman Doulton777 Yeah I have told them the same thing. I told them they need to structure things differently. As well as label what category things are in their show room. They should also have a price list with everything. So people can get prepared before hand. It will be less work and take up less time. It will turn out to be better organised. Less headaches and confusion. If they improve their process then they won't be make as much money from us and from our confusion. I have to admit I thought the same thing. They want confusion. So people end up paying more. Re: My Metricon Bordeaux 56 build 589Mar 08, 2017 10:48 pm I think the amount of people who actually want to upgrade a lot of things is small in comparison to the people happy with the limited selections at studio M. This is probably why they don't bother providing that much info out there. Probably also why anyone building a Signature home is provided with a more extensive upgrade list to match a display home. My consultant said that knock down rebuilds are the ones that do a lot of upgrades. That people who do house and land packs or build on new land don't do as many upgrades. That's why she also said our job is their biggest job for new land. Plus all the structure changers. That lines up with what our sales consultant told me which was that they have the best people on the knock down rebuilds than those on the new home places (like in the estates as opposed to standalone ones like all the ones around Glen Waverley). We were previously going to build the Glendale and had a bad experience with our sales consultant then who was from a new house and land area. Now we are dealing with the knockdown rebuild one he's been so much better and way more knowledgable. Far more knowledge then the normal ones. And for our job we needed someone like that. Because our job was very complex. The other place couldn't do it as it was too big with structural changers. It's my consultants first time doing new land. With are with greenfeilds. Emmy, M has divided their business into two inner metro KDR with more upgrades and complicated land and outer estate homes for that same reason.
