First home buyer here but can not find much information about them other than your useful posts. Considering Zara 31 with Guest bed at front.. Re: Building in Gregory Hills - College Release Hall and Har 95Aug 08, 2017 12:46 pm Hi all. We signed our tender in the last week or so ...also building the Elyse. Exciting times ahead. But the choice is slightly overwhelming! CKbuild, they give you 2 weeks to think about things before you sign up. I have also been dealing with Chris at the tender stage who has been very good to deal with. Re: Building in Gregory Hills - College Release Hall and Har 96Aug 08, 2017 1:00 pm Hi erikaom, I believe from my research that the Hall & Hart name may be relatively new, but the directors and staff are all highly experienced from well regarded builders. When we signed up they seemed to base some of their approach on some named high quality builders, who had an excellent reputation in the market . From speaking with them, they have a focus on only using really good Site Supervisors, and making sure each SS only manages a small number of homes at any one time. I thought that was a great point, as they are the ones who control and take responsibility for the build of your house at the end of the day. Re: Building in Gregory Hills - College Release Hall and Har 97Aug 08, 2017 1:38 pm Congrats Rennie on your contact signing! Really exciting times ahead for you guys! Colour, brick, tile appointments etc it was so overwhelming for us 1st timers but be confident in your choices. I don't know heaps about Hall and hart's background but they are a yr or two old Sydney based company. We were a little concerned with how many building companies go broke but our solicitor said it can happen to the bigger companies like beachworth just as easy as the little companies so as long as they have the right insurance covers we will be fine. We are extremely happy in our choice, I loved their home designs and got a really good vibe from the builders from the get go. So far Hall and Hart have gone above and beyond for us, I feel we wouldn't get the service we have received from the bigger companies. On that note I have bathroom pictures to update on Re: Building in Gregory Hills - College Release Hall and Har 99Aug 08, 2017 9:31 pm Rennie Hi all. Congrats Rennie on signing Tender. We had our first tender meet yesterday with Chris and there were quite few things missing so he will send revised tender with plan. I feel there site cost is on higher side. Re: Building in Gregory Hills - College Release Hall and Har 100Aug 08, 2017 9:56 pm Hi ckbuild, Maybe you do have another tender already, but thought I'd point out that for us, it would have been difficult to gauge site costs for our own block, except we already had another tender to compare to from Eden Brae. Our Eden Brae tender was ridiculous in comparison. Some items where almost 3 times higher. So we were quite happy with the site costs provided by Chris. I imagine some of the items are provisional aswell? For ours, we actually received multiple credits back at a later point, but every case is different. I have a really long hallway which is 1100mm W x 11500mm L I would appreciate if anyone can give suggestions to light it up with Linear LED lights that goes from wall to… 0 8811 Even if it's not being sub-divided and you want to keep it as Torrens title, you will still need to talk to a town planner or Council themselves, to see if they will allow… 1 11033 Thanks again Simeon for being so elaborate. Appreciate it. Its gives us a very idea. Kind Regards 4 3665 |
