Browse Forums Buying Land Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 803May 22, 2017 3:46 pm What a beautiful day with hardly a cloud in the sky. So judging by today, does anyone think it will rain this week? If it doesn't rain this week then today performance can be excused. But if it rains then the mob that are doing South Siding are nothing more than a Mickey Mouse club. Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 805May 22, 2017 4:18 pm Puddlette Just called up Oliver Hume and spoke to Linda who advised that they should still be on track for end of June/ beginning of July All we can do is wait. It just keeps getting longer and longer Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 806May 22, 2017 5:06 pm On track for a End June/ beginning July WHAT? Remember Oliver Hume have been using the same puppet doing the same thing since last year. On track for a Sept /Oct. On track for a Nov./Dec On track for a Jan /Feb On track for a Feb/ Mar On track for a May /June..... Which is the letter we have. And on track for June. July what? and they have already delayed it by another month If it's June title then people can start to build July/August Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 807May 22, 2017 5:46 pm The "On Track" phrase is a brain washing way of covering up a delay by another month. It been done like that since last year. If you saw what went on today under lovely blue skies you will cry. If it doesn't rain this week and they do what they have to do then today is not that big a loss. But if it rains:( Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 809May 22, 2017 6:23 pm Niether are mine. They just let ppl loose hopes again. So in all honesty. Winslow is the same as the earlier contractor. 😡😡 Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 810May 22, 2017 6:38 pm Winslow have been the main contractor the whole time. Fulton Hogan came in for a little bit in Feb/March, but was very short lived. Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 812May 23, 2017 8:13 am If they have already decided for a July registration, they will not push themselves to finish the job. they are just repeating with hat they did in stage 1. Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 813May 23, 2017 8:44 am And that's exactly why yesterday they were having a stroll in the sun under nice blue skies. Instead of pushing to finish because there is 9 days left and not much to do, They extend a month and just go through the motions, and if rain comes then they use those few day of rain as excuse, A Mickey Mouse organization that I had enough off. No management, no targets, no focus. Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 814May 23, 2017 1:55 pm Lovely day after drops of rain fell. The way they are working now they should have done the same yesterday. Although I do understand that sometime you can't get certain authorities to come in when you want them to. Footpaths little was done. They still have the Ruben street of the Island facing the rail line to do, plus the other two Islands. The Authority that is doing the fence and landscape along the rail line is there doing the work. Soil has and is been moved around and work is getting done at the two entries ( Heathcote Grove/ Primrose Ave ) on connections underground. Not sure which Authority is doing this. Does seem like they are getting work done. I guess they might slack nly when their manages are not around. And as Puddlette said We can just keep our fingers crossed Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 817May 23, 2017 4:50 pm Any work is good work but intelligent and common sense work is better work While one soil moving truck moves the soil to its destination another soil truck can be filled. Then by the time the first truck is back to be filled the seconds goes and moves the soil. This is good management, committed to finishing on time. But the Mickey Mouse organization only uses on truck. Is it because they are already set in for an extra month? I hope not. Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 818May 23, 2017 6:00 pm Will be going down to see how things are going for the last time tomorrow as my Mrs doesn't want me to get in trouble for over watching them. So Tomorrow will be my last update and hopefully things will finish soon. Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 819May 24, 2017 12:43 pm Two days left this week.... Saturday they work if they want to..... and two days next week and that will bring them to the 30th. 1) Black steel poles are getting put up along the reservation of the rail line to install black wire fence. 2) Still one soil moving truck moving the soil but the job is getting done, 3) Footpaths surrounding the small Island facing Eades street is left to do, along with half of the middle Island,( The Alberico way Half) 4 F Hogan were also there doing things. All this was by 11.20. Black big clouds were all over but I knew they were moving North. If rains stay away I cannot see why they would need another month.. Two days left and if no rain the footpaths should be finished and the fence along the rail line, If they don't want to be a Mickey Mouse organization pretending to be Civil constructors they will aim for the 30th, and if they need another week then good.
