Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Greenvale Heritage Views 182Apr 18, 2017 6:22 pm Guys, I emailed Rex raising concerns of heritage views project on stand still and asking on an update. Response is as below Thanks David....... Stage 1 is fully completed & waiting on Council to issue the Statement of Compliance then title registation can be applied for....... The delays with Stage 1 construction were due to a number of issues outside of the Developers control & well apart from weather delays Stage 2 has commenced & drainage works have be undertaken to date & was delayed due to the delays completing Stage 1....... As soon as the Statement of Compliance has been issued for Stage 1, we can then re-commence Stage 2 construction due for anticipated construction completion in August 2017...... Re: Greenvale Heritage Views 183Apr 20, 2017 10:40 am Don't see how August is completion for Stage-2 when getting a compliance for Stage-1 has taken already 3months (waiting since Feb). Even if we get the compliance today May will be the start of development towards Stage-2 and having the titles ready by Aug will be no less than miracle. By previous track record i would say by end of the year since the wet session is also about to start. Re: Greenvale Heritage Views 184Apr 21, 2017 8:56 am Davidmarley What Rex is telling you and john are telling others are 2 completely different things. Things are expected to be completed by march-April next year for stage 2. As john did say Likely due to the rain that's going be commencing in winter will be big delays. it is unfortunate because we do have land ourselves in stage 2. They are waiting of the developer to put all paperwork through to the council for stage 1 to be completed. He is dragging it out in hope people will give back there land so they can sell it at a better price. He also said because heritage Views is not such a big estate like others the don't have a leaver on anything.. as he says. Re: Greenvale Heritage Views 186Apr 21, 2017 10:58 pm Re: Fqunqar When sunset activates u pay the new price...no if or buts Spoke to council compliance is still pending due to multiple things from developer. Don't believe when they say oh its about to happen. Greenvale Heritage Views 189Apr 22, 2017 6:20 pm You can check yourself on the SPEAR planning website just put in the PS Plan number that is on your contract. https://www.spear.land.vic.gov.au/spear ... /Search.do It will look like this. You do realise that regardless of a clause, it is very well stated within the contract that the vendor is responsible to complete this project within a timely manner. This is the same with any kind of contract. If there is belive that this is being purposely dragged out to marked up profit margins for the developer then this is completely illegal. Regardless of a sunset clause. Why are people not acting on this? And bringing this problem to light for everyone to see? We live in a world of the rich get richer and the poor suffer, so is it not time that everyone stands up to this sh*t. Otherwise you can just lie there and loose your deposits and give your land away. Re: Greenvale Heritage Views 191Apr 28, 2017 11:08 am Hi Everyone, We still don't have an update on compliance and every one has been repeatedly been given assurance that this will be ready in Feb then March and then April. We are now heading into May. DON'T BELIEVE ANYTHING THAT IS BEING TOLD Consider your options such that compliance will not be ready till ....Each and everyone from STAGE-1 hits SUNSET and same will Follow for STAGE-2. _______ Can anyone update what excuses has Developer,Rex & their lawyer has come up with now _____and if they have again promised it is just around the corner and will be ready early next week which has been repeated for the past 6 weeks. Re: Greenvale Heritage Views 195May 03, 2017 2:44 pm Re:Fqunqar Thx for the update I have cross check this with the spear website its all good Once again congrats everyone this is good news and hopefully everything will flow easy for guys in stage-2 Best of luck everyone Re: Greenvale Heritage Views 198May 11, 2017 11:32 pm I'm not in your estate but it is usually around 14 days from issue of title. |
