Bapontar
I didnt do much with the galley. Just move the promotional inclussion of overhead cuppoard on kitchen run to the galley.
I told her its going to be difficult to clean and we'll be looking at border fence. But she told me it will be my job to clean the window. Hahaha poor me. And for the fence, i most probably will install bamboo fence to all area that are visible from kitchen and dining.
For your galley, did you have the stone top galley bench too?

Ohok so you've just moved them in with no cabinetry at the base?
Something to look out for with regards to moving the overheads, as this is something we had a huge issue with. The whole time we were told that moving them was easy. Then when it came to contract there was a gap in the drawings and they only put them against one wall! Basically giving us half the amount of overheads without our consent.
We sat the kitchen culture appointment twice due to the incorrect information given and it bascially just being a complete stuff up.
When moving the overheads you might see a gap, or they may only fill one wall and not both ( which your entitled too) be sure to check this. I complained about this as they were going to charge us for more cabintery plus extra for the finishes as we upgraded to silk gloss. Due to the fact we were always told it would be no issue we ended up getting it waived and added. nightmare!
Yes we have the blanco maple continued through the galley, personally we found it made the space look bigger using the same materials. To upgrade and get the option 3 was so expensive close to $2k for full base cabinetry from memory.
very expensive little space!!! but we felt it was such an area on show that we wanted it to look clean and tidy.
sorry for the essay!
