Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Jan 30, 2016 12:19 pm Hi, We planted lily pillies a year ago along our back fence in the hope of screening the back neighbours. There are 11 along the fence and they vary in size from about 50cm - 1.5mt tall. The taller ones seem to have one branch that has taken off and several other smaller ones. Do we prune the lower stems in the hope they will grow up leaving only one main branch? I really have no idea how to encourage them upwards!! Some are now flopping all over the place with the multiple branches. Thanks for your help! Try to do it on a cloudy day to prevent the leaves from burning. Spray the foliage and with a 50/50 blend of Seasol and power feed .
