Not quite what we were told was happening. They have ground down a few small bits but mostly just chucked a heap of self leveller down, covering up a decent chunk of the skirt and back door. With glue and tiles it's going to be close to the door catching on the floor. At a minimum the skirting is going to need to be fixed. I don't understand why they wouldn't have removed it first. Pretty sure they were meant to finish bathrooms last week. When we warned SS about the mirror size issue he was grateful and said that the measure hadn't been done yet so all good, then today there's a note on the bathroom wall that they came to measure but job wasn't ready 🤦♀️. Robes were measured though. Just a single half row on the wall we can see, so can't even tell if they are laying them right. Weirdly they were washing/scrubbing the subways in the garage tonight . Needed to remove some perhaps?? We don't have a huge number of spares because at least a whole box were delivered broken. Like mine, yours was filthy with muddy boots and rubbish etc but now yours is quite clean and I always wondered how they did it. I don’t think you need to worry about the broken tiles as an extra cost would be on the builder. Only issue is delays if they have to order more or if they came from a different batch but if it looked crap it’s a defect and get redone. For us we had heaps of spares in the end so I guess they really overorder. It wasn't perfect then so I assume the tilers cleaned it when they were preparing to lay the tiles. You would hope they had it clean before the poured the leveller. https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?share_ ... are_type=t I would never build with Fowler homes.
