We've book houspect in for Monday but there will still be cleaning, M's QA and scaffold up! If re try and reschedule we may have to delay the whole process by another week. M want us to sign off on defect at pci with or without houspect report. Anyone any ideas/experience on this? Should we just have the inspection or reschedule? Can we refuse to sign the PCI list until we get Houspect report???? So at least 7 of the trades that were planned for last week failed to either turn up or finish their jobs! Safe to say that we've cancelled yet another pci. Painful part this time was we actually believed M - CM has really been putting in the effort to get us sorted but trades just don't seem to care, and M have no leverage to hold them to task..... aiming for Friday this week. But we now have updates from Metricons GM! Yes we've escalated and are at least getting some management support to our tieless CM. M did their QA and the house failed so we once again wait for another PCI date. Beyond being over this build. Roll on xmas at this rate. We upgraded our ac to have the wifi card/controller but with these manual switches (which we wish had been called out so we could have upgraded to Saturn to match rest of the house) it now feels like we'll only really be able to switch on/off rather than full control Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Do daikin offer an upgrade option? The zones should be integrated to the Aircon controller called 'zones'..... I think your controller support 2 or 4 zones? How many zones did you end up getting? We have 6 zones for aircon and upgraded the controller to support unto 8. At a minimum those switches need to be Saturn. We have 4 zones and had fully expected to have them integrated as part of the main temp/fan speed controller. It seems a perfectly sensible option but I don't recall it having been called out/specified in the contract. I had the same standard controller installed and had no idea that the zone control would be standard switches. I have been tossing up whether to install the SkyFi controller, but i'm thinking now that i'd rather spend the money on a coolautomation controller and replace the daikin controller with a Nest Thermostat. https://coolautomation.com/nest/ Re: Metricon Glendale 37+ 540Sep 14, 2017 11:17 am SteveMc Hi Nryde. I'm assuming that M simply haven't installed the correct control panel! Will have a look at the cool nest options.
