Welcome back from your holiday! I have been following your thread for quite some time now and i remember reading that you have 600x600 wall tiles for your bathrooms. Are you able to post a pic of how they look in your bathroom? I need to decide whether I'd like to choose 300x600 or 600x600 porcelain wall tiles for my ensuite and the difference in cost between the two is only by $180. My floor tiles are standard and they are 300x300. I wonder if the bigger size would be too heavy for plaster walls? Re: Dream Metricon Glendale 38 (Sydney)! 5004Jun 13, 2017 3:33 pm Hi Lemans! Not at all. 6x6 looks great and makes the room look bigger. Although the square profile makes the room look square-shaped. If you get the 3x6 tiles than you can make the room look taller or wider (depending on the orientation) you lay it. I would of love to get rectangular tiles in 4x8 or 4x9 but M doesn't lay tiles on bathroom walls this large. I do prefer the look of 300x600 on the wall and i was going to have them laid horizontally. However, the pic you posted of the tiles laid vertically just as great! So hard to choose! Lol. Also cheaper to lay too compared to the 600x600. Imho, If you have big size bathrooms then lay them vertically so the room looks taller (higher ceilings) The problem with mine is that my ensuite is quite small, ceiling height for upstairs is 2440 and ensuite measures 2440 x 2340. My main bath measures 2370 x 2910. I had vertical tiles in my previous home with the same ceiling height, funnily enough i didn't take too much notice of it until now lol Re: Dream Metricon Glendale 38 (Sydney)! 5010Jun 13, 2017 8:21 pm Renman Orpheus Lemans [quote="Orpheus"]Hi Lemans! But m said we couldn't fit them anywhere cos of the style of the kitchen and the pantry. Love your plate dividers too. It looks so good. I think we have something similar for the cutlery. viewtopic.php?t=86597 Re: Dream Metricon Glendale 38 (Sydney)! 5016Jun 14, 2017 3:11 pm Doulton777 Hi Doulton Thanks, I'm happy with the Pull-out pantries and drawer dividers. The cabinets, pantries and robes are done by a local kitchen supplier. The Pull-out pantries are $3k for both fitouts. We will be going with the dark wood cutlery trays from Europe but haven't ordered then yet. Otherwise we can go with the ABS ones Orpheus Building the Metricon Glendale 38|Sydney Re: Dream Metricon Glendale 38 (Sydney)! 5017Jun 14, 2017 4:27 pm Nice, All the cabinetry looks great! That's such a good price. viewtopic.php?t=86597 Re: Dream Metricon Glendale 38 (Sydney)! 5019Jun 14, 2017 6:16 pm Orpheus Doulton777 Hi Doulton Thanks, I'm happy with the Pull-out pantries and drawer dividers.
