Interested in where you found the cheapest No haven't purchased any lights yet Looking at getting all of my LED lights and transformers from lighting Illusions There are cheap led strips from eBay but now sure on their quality . At the moment im leaning towards RGB strip lights from LED Central. I have also purchased a RGB controller. I will be able to sync the led strip lights with my sound system I purchased quite a few of the 12v waterproof rgb and warm white waterproof strip lights and they have stood the test of time. Ali express came in handy for my spotlights. I purchased 20 12v 3W led spike spotlights and they work really well. I was thinking of doing something similar to your design. Any chance you have the measurements used for your footings? I was thinking of doing something similar to your design. Any chance you have the measurements used for your footings? Thanks Hi Josh, I can send you a dimensional drawing Essentially footing were as follows - 120mm thick - 7mm square mesh (50mm recess from sides) - 50mm offset of footing from brickwork Re: WREXTER'S REAR LANDSCAPING JOURNEY - Rendering Complete 45Feb 15, 2016 4:44 pm Update: Completed waterproofing (photos later) and commenced the retic installation. Did a whole lot of shifting sand last weekend, i think i got rid of about 3 cubes! I started the retic and connected the lines up to the valves, only to discover leaks at the brass gate valve, and that the pvc ball valves (red handle) were not pressure rated so i had to purchase new ones and re-do that whole section (pics not shown below of new section). When i was at Bunnings getting new PVC cement, to my horror i discovered i have been using the wrong PVC Cement, the blue one which is NOT pressure rated. The green ones are for pressure piping. So i was left with the dilemma, rip out and redo or risk it. So i ripped it out and redid it. I had to or i would forever lay awake at night! Re: WREXTER'S REAR LANDSCAPING JOURNEY - Rendering Complete 47Feb 23, 2016 4:44 pm No progress on the retic last weekend as i had to focus on waterproofing, sealing the planter boxes and installing the pizza oven before the rains on Monday so it was a very busy weekend. Hoping to do the following this weekend: - fill up the planter boxes with sand (bring down sand level in decking area). - complete preliminary retic/lighting wiring install - waterproof top of bench seats. - Mark & clear areas ready for paving. here are some photos: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Prep work before pouring concrete for bench seats. My name is Amir and I have been a landscape professional for over 15 years. I love what you have done in your yard - it looks great! I am a supplier of vertical gardens and have a product that is slightly different to what you have pictured. My system is still made up from individual pots that can be clipped into place using a mesh backing. The pots hold about ; litres of soil so are still large enough to allow plants to thrive and convenient enough to allow you to move plants around with ease. If you have not purchased your vertical garden yet, I would love to be in contact with you and see if we can help you with your design! Our system works well for the DIY handyman. If you get a chance, have a look about website. www.upthewall.com.au and see what we can do. From there you can click through to our Facebook page to get some more inspiration! I can be contacted on 0428 550 999 or by email amir@berger.net.au I look forward to hearing from you! Amir. Re: WREXTER'S REAR LANDSCAPING JOURNEY - Rendering Complete 49Mar 06, 2016 11:07 pm Hi Amir Thanks for the post, but unfortunately i have already purchased the Atlantis system. Also, wall dimensions were based on the Atlantis dimensions so i can not switch to another system. I really like that idea. Are those the plants you'll put in? I love the colour and texture contrast between them all. Yes, the pavers around the grass will make it much easier for lawn mowing, and it looks nice too i think. Those wont be the exact plants i will put in, but the colours/shape/size will be similar hopefully. In the feature planter box (square shape with bench aroudn it) I am aiming to plant a Yellow/White Frangipani.
