Re: Hebel power flooring system 9Mar 10, 2015 9:21 am Interestingly enough, Aerated concrete brick walls (thermalite) was a failure in WA many years ago so there is a stigma attached. As for concrete insitu floor slabs they are still cheaper where your lower walls are brickwork here on sand foundations. It has been used extensively in Europe for 60 years and in many other countries around the world. I definitely would have used it for my build but the builder I chose would not. It was very nearly a deal breaker. Many project home builders, on the east coast are using it. As with all building products/systems, it has its advantages and disadvantages.
