Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Fairwater in Blacktown by Australand 106May 15, 2015 1:25 pm Hi All, Good to see a lot of people active here. I secured a 3 bedroom place in second release. Cant wait for it to be completed around Jan 2016. Just waiting for display homes to finish. They said they might finish early June next month. Have a lovely day all. Would be good to know a few people once I start living there Re: Fairwater in Blacktown by Australand 107May 16, 2015 11:54 am Hi! To the people sho have already purchased, where you allowed to make slight alterations to the floor-plan (for an additional cost?) e.g. changing the shape of the kitchen, layout of bathroom, etc. Re: Fairwater in Blacktown by Australand 108May 16, 2015 12:06 pm Good Morning Fairwater Buyer. ..You are not allowed to make any changes... the most you can do is tell them not to put the carpet but they wont refund any money .....so in a nutshell you do everything after you get the house...no alterations allowed....And also no flyscreen doors will be installed ...thats an additional expense when u move into the house.... Re: Fairwater in Blacktown by Australand 110May 18, 2015 8:16 am Good Morning All...Is it only me or the property prices are becoming more and more unrealistic. .......there is nothing under $800,000 for a 3 bedder at this Rouse Hill Development. Re: Fairwater in Blacktown by Australand 111May 18, 2015 11:35 am @Navman1986 I believe these prices are fine simply because it's a new construction and it needs to more than The Ponds otherwise people who invested there won't be happy. Also, Now new train tracks are going there which will increase and boost the prices. BTW - In Blacktown outside of Faiwater you will be looking now around $750K for three bedroom townhouse (link below) ... this gives us an idea how hot is the market and prices soon will be touching same as Rouse hill. http://www.realestate.com.au/property-t ... ngType=buy Re: Fairwater in Blacktown by Australand 113May 21, 2015 3:12 pm Hi guys- anyone knows who is responsible for the maintenance of the lake, grass land, bike tracks and other general facilities built in this project by Australand? Are these run by Council or Fairwater residents who pay the community levy? Re: Fairwater in Blacktown by Australand 114May 21, 2015 6:10 pm Jappy Hi guys- anyone knows who is responsible for the maintenance of the lake, grass land, bike tracks and other general facilities built in this project by Australand? Are these run by Council or Fairwater residents who pay the community levy? The Australand will hand over the site to council to maintain and that's what your council rate been paid for Re: Fairwater in Blacktown by Australand 115May 22, 2015 8:34 am The only extra levy payable I guess is where you share a common road at the back of your house for access to your garage. And Jackyljj is right Australand transfers maintainance to Blacktown Council. Re: Fairwater in Blacktown by Australand 117May 26, 2015 11:33 pm Wall paper option is only available with 4 bedroom houses as far as I know...and I guess they were master bedroom and media room...not sure entirely Re: Fairwater in Blacktown by Australand 118May 27, 2015 7:53 pm Rjz Do any of you guys know where Wall paper will be in the house ?
