Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Mojo Homes 1007Jun 11, 2017 4:59 pm Huhness readytomove Huhness The master WIR were also sized for IKEA PAX with sufficient spacing so it was nice and spacious walking in there, I found the standard spacing was way too narrow for a decent wardrobe. I can get you the variation pricing too if you like. I uploaded a quote for upgraded open riser stairs to this thread too. Thanks. I saw staircase quote. Thank u for that. Would love to get variation prices on this one. Will give me idea. Alter the Ensuite as follows: a) Extend the Ensuite approx. 600mm front to rear reducing the WIR to suit. b) Delete the WC/Ensuite dividing walls and hung door so toilet suite is open to Ensuite. WC window relocates to be above toilet suite. c) Extend the shower recess to the full width of Ensuite and provide additional standard shower rose and tap set to shower. d) Provide 2340mm high Hume Solicore primecoat MDF "Evolution" cavity sliding door to front wall of Ensuite. Re: Mojo Homes 1010Jun 12, 2017 10:27 am Framr only takes 4 or 5 days. I would say another 3 or 4.. but need a good run. Rain scheduled from wednesday again! Supposed to be a dry winter so lets see how the next 12 weeks go. Crucial stage to getting in by christmas! Re: Mojo Homes 1011Jun 12, 2017 10:57 am Been driving around a few estates in the south west there are a lot of Mojo Homes being built at the moment, hopefully quality continues to be Mojo's strong point. Re: Mojo Homes 1012Jun 14, 2017 8:50 am Anyone know if you need to start building before tender expiry or just be on the construction list? Re: Mojo Homes 1013Jun 14, 2017 10:30 am Alessandroc Anyone know if you need to start building before tender expiry or just be on the construction list? Just construction list or if you provided ACC or DA approved Re: Mojo Homes 1014Jun 14, 2017 9:38 pm Our SS grant has been very approachable... build is moving at normal pace. We are at the end of week 6 today. Couple framing/steel issues meant framing couldnt be finished off. Plus last week's deluge didnt help!. Chippies have been busting their guts to catch up. 6pm i was driving home and did a drive by. They were packing up with the phone lights! current programme: Framing to be finished by monday 19th Wall wrapping wednesday 21st Plumbing rough in thursday 22nd onwards Hebel tentative start 29th (fingers crossed as this has been the cause of delay on a few projects). Prob 2 week turn around.. then we can think about getting that behemoth roof colorbond sheeted! Bradnams windows are on site (as pictured) black powdercoating is of good quality! Had my doubts but all seems ok! Wideline were the original suppliers and as of march it changed over. No issues that i can see one thing id say is wet area niches go as big as possible. The std are not very big at 420x270 (internal measurement once tiled) ideally 700x300.. not sure if this is possible but i do know they make the prefab type up to 800. Do you know it is after roof installation or after that? Re: Mojo Homes 1016Jun 20, 2017 12:45 pm progress payment is very clear on your contract.. They usually charge within 48hrs of completion, depends when your site supervisor logs it. initial deposit 5% slab 15% - invoiced next business day after completion framing - 20% - completed yesterday so expecting it to come through by COB tomorrow. Lockup staging 30% "Roof"- - which is from 75% completion of hebel, roof, windows and gutter. once roof is on its safe to say 75% complete.... guttering/facias/eaves is less than 25%.. internal linings - 20% - But its at the start of tiling kitchen or lining. meaning there will be some 10-20 weeks from this charge to handover.. in other words they have 90% of the cost before getting through the finishes PC 10% Re: Mojo Homes 1018Jun 23, 2017 10:39 pm mys013 How is everything going with the build ja-mez? Good Ground floor is wrapped and plumbing is roughed in sans internal drainage.. They changed framing and window companies so im one of the early ones. Meaning few issues. Run of the mill building problems, Mojo and my SS have been prompt to action them so far. Crazy how quick things happen once theres personnel on site. There was about 3 weeks from slab to framing. But then the frame went up within 2 weeks which includes that huge downpour and the framing/steel issues! Really Happy with progress and communication to date.. hopefully it continues! I am glad the communication is there, I fully expect their to be problems but I think the communication and how they are dealt with is what can make or break the experience.
