On paper the items they include as standard and the current offers have some very nice upgrades but its they things which aren't included which I'm concerned about. Roof sarking and Wall wrapping don't appear to be included for instance, from people who have been through the process other than the usual stuff like electrical and upgrades to things like stairs did anyone find that there were some core home items which were missing or were necessary to be upgraded because the item included was poor? We're looking at building a Soul 40 with only minimal changes to the design as it is pretty much spot on for us. Hi, I have just checked my tender and both wall wrapping and sarking are there - however there is a charge associated with both of them. Hope this helps, Purp How much was the wall wrapping charge? $1,250 Re: Mojo Homes 349Aug 10, 2016 6:18 pm purpleal ahoythere Our electricals when to 10k. Just covering each room adequately with lighting and power and data where required quickly added up. We spent a bit more on the neo tastic 3 in 1 heat light and fan for the bathrooms, because I've used them previously. Even though we spent a bit of time setting out our lights so that they made sense in the spaces, theres no control over where the air conditioning outlets go. Sorry to be ignorant - but may I ask you what you mean by covering each room with data? (I get the power and lighting). We are currently in a 4 bed house, several kids, 4 laptops, 5 tablets and a powerful Alienware gaming (only!) laptop - we have a telstra line and fast internet via Internode which we find sufficient for our needs. We are building an Enigma 41 - is there something I extra I should be asking for data wise that I haven't thought about? I have a partner but his work keeps us seperated for significant amounts of time so whilst he is funding the build, everything else has pretty much been left up to me! I am more used to flowers and perfume than bricks and mortar! Thanks! Although wireless may seem adequate now, you need to future proof your new home. Based on my research, data cables can provide you, phone, tv and internet via the same cable. It is cheaper to put more data points (ideally cat6) as part of new build. We have not yet had our electrical appointment yet but I am budgeting for at least 10K which will include at least 25 data points which include provision for security cameras. nkelly15 purpleal Huhness How are people finding the inclusions offered by Mojo? Ok we're building with MacDonald jones/mojo and are very UNHAPPY with majority of the build!!!! Maybe compare MJ & mojo... Re: Mojo Homes 351Aug 11, 2016 9:35 am I checked my tender and it does not include wall wrap. Is it too late to have it included if the plans have been signed off? I googled wall wrap and only found Bradford marketing speak. In reality, what difference does it make? It is best practice that wall wrap is installed with Hebel, I think mainly to prevent condensation and just adds another thermal layer. It is optional though, they don't say that it is required. Re: Mojo Homes 354Aug 11, 2016 8:39 pm Hi all Anyone looking into installing a pool after handover?. Im trying to get an idea so that i know how much i should put in the provision. Also is anyone doing any c-bus lighting with their house? Re: Mojo Homes 355Aug 11, 2016 8:49 pm w1ck3d homes Hi all Anyone looking into installing a pool after handover?. Hi w1ck3d, We are considering a pool too, I have seen prices all the way up to 70k so it's hard to get an idea as everyone has different wants. We are thinking dynalite but only because I should be able to get a great deal. Re: Mojo Homes 356Aug 11, 2016 9:14 pm Hi. We are building the enigma 46 at Chisholm NSW. We have made a fair few changes. Has anyone chosen their floor tiles / carpet with the package that was offered?? We have gone with the traditional facade, we hope we have made the right decision.. Figured we could do a lot with colour options. What exterior colours has everyone chosen Re: Mojo Homes 357Aug 11, 2016 9:35 pm mys013 w1ck3d homes Hi all Anyone looking into installing a pool after handover?. Nothing to fancy just a nice spot to cool off for the summer months. Are you planning to do the dynalight after handover? Yeah dynalite will have to be done after handover, Mojo don't like other tradies onsite from what I have heard. Is anyone building with Mojo and have a recent site cost tender 0 12210 Hi all, We are considering Enigma 46 from Mojo Homes in Gables, NSW. Has anyone built with Mojo and any pointers and feedback.
