Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Anyone building in Bradley Heights? 222Nov 04, 2015 9:53 am Hard to say....But that is the only unit block on Bradley Street.. There were couple of open houses there over the weekend..May be not whole building is going for NRAS. I even remember getting an information pack for buying off the plan apartments from that complex. Re: Anyone building in Bradley Heights? 224Nov 25, 2015 6:53 am Hi everyone, this page has been quiet for a while. I visited bradley heights last weekend after a month or so and saw a few frames are going up, very exciting to see the area is getting shaped. Re: Anyone building in Bradley Heights? 225Nov 25, 2015 7:53 am Wow! We were there almost 4 weeks ago clearing our block for the builder & didn't see anything then either.. We will have to go past there this weekend We are in the 'construction stage' just waiting for them to start...! Which is meant to happen within 20 working days (by 4th December!) Re: Anyone building in Bradley Heights? 226Nov 25, 2015 7:59 am Yes it's definitely looking great now that some houses are starting to appear. We drive past most days, one place has nearly the whole frame/Windows complete, looks great! We won't be starting until the new year with the 20 day thing as this will bring us into their close period Re: Anyone building in Bradley Heights? 227Nov 25, 2015 8:12 am We are waiting for the CDC approval....Very exciting to see the new constructions in Bradley Heights.. Re: Anyone building in Bradley Heights? 229Nov 25, 2015 12:24 pm Ahhh I couldn't wait and drove past today! Workers were at our block fencing it up and pegging it out! Woo Hoo There are 4 metricon houses in a row... One has the frame already, another one the slab... Hopefully we are not too far behind!! Re: Anyone building in Bradley Heights? 230Dec 03, 2015 10:19 am Guys, If you receive the rates notice from Council please check with your solicitor before proceeding for any payment. During the land settlement Vendor has deducted rates payment till June 2016.But I realized that they have not processed the payment to the council . Re: Anyone building in Bradley Heights? 231Dec 03, 2015 10:37 am Thanks for the heads up! I received the notice & just thought we had to pay it! But I know our settlement included council rates so I'll check with our solicitor. Ps. Our slab is getting poured today!! Woo Hoo Re: Anyone building in Bradley Heights? 232Jan 11, 2016 12:50 pm Just received updated design guidelines for Bradley heights and this now includes colourbond fencing, so you can now choose between timber and colourbond Re: Anyone building in Bradley Heights? 233Jan 11, 2016 3:23 pm Wow! Thanks for the update! Did you receive that off Joe? Were their any other changes? Hopefully all my neighbours will agree on the same type of fencing! Thankfully all my neighbours appear to be up to almost the same stage (except for the one to our right has not started yet) How's your lot coming along? I think I saw it getting fenced up before Chrissy? We have our frames up now & we're up to the third stage (whatever comes next lol I think it's the roof) Re: Anyone building in Bradley Heights? 234Jan 11, 2016 8:01 pm I received it in the mail with a letter to say they have updated the guidelines to provide more clarity. They should send it to everyone so yours should not be far off. Can't really see any changes other then it being neater and the articulated element is clearer, they have also included the requirements for approval which would be for the next release. I'm glad about the colourbond, also hoping my neighbours prefer this. I have seen your place, it's coming along nicely Yep, we got our fence just before xmas. Hopefully we see something happen over the next week or so. Re: Anyone building in Bradley Heights? 235Jan 11, 2016 9:07 pm I also received this... Just hadn't checked the mail yet lol Yes so far it's been coming together nice & quick! I'm sure it will slow down now though! Once your build starts we will have to co-ordinate a lot visit one weekend so we can all meet Re: Anyone building in Bradley Heights? 236Jan 12, 2016 8:27 pm Most definitely, we will have to organise that Fingers crossed everything keeps moving along fast for you. Hopefully we won't be too far behind. Re: Anyone building in Bradley Heights? 238Jan 14, 2016 11:19 pm Hi Hooms, Our land rego was delayed two months so I guess it's normal?
