I don't know how you're going to wait so long to move in, I wouldn't be able to Our build thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=70984 Re: Stoneleigh Dale Alcock Baldivis: 2nd Inspection 554Nov 04, 2015 12:28 pm Thank you everyone +Tbrown2012 Beautiful! Love the doors! Is your front door frosted? We have clear glass in ours and still not 100% comfortable at being so see through at night. Considering frosting but love the light the clear glass brings in daylight. The fools gold splashback looks fab!!! It can look quite different colours depending on your angle. Glad you got most everything sorted. Good luck for the next few weeks! Our front door is frosted Tbrown, I am glad we did go with frosted. I do like lots of natural light like you too The splashback looks silver one minute and brown/gold the next I love the change in colour depending on the light and angle. Thank you can't wait to get the keys Ourhoneywood and Malsannie, our splashback was originally gunmetal grey. In the showroom it looked quite light, but I was looking on the internet one day and it is quite dark once up. Was a bit too much contrast for me so I am glad we changed it. MalSannie What a lovely feature your garage door is! It goes so well with your windows too - something completely different I love it and the glazed internal doors are beautiful too. I like how your pendants are spaced - ours are a bit odd, close to the edges of the bench and then one in the middle I'll have to find out whether electricians can move it - I wonder if they also then fix the holes in ceilings if it needs moving? Is the splashback different from the colour you showed before? It is so difficult to see on pictures Malsannie we asked for them to be evenly spaced across the area, I would defiantly ask for them to be changed if you are not happy with the spacing. It should be quite easy for them to move them and for the holes to be fixed in the ceiling too Re: Stoneleigh Dale Alcock Baldivis: Keys 20th Nov 556Nov 04, 2015 12:50 pm Love your double hallway doors, they look gorgeous! Tempted to change mine to white now too! Re: Stoneleigh Dale Alcock Baldivis: Keys 20th Nov 557Nov 06, 2015 10:21 pm Looking beautiful jelbel you must be so excited everything is so close now! Paint colours are the worst our builder is doing ours so we need to choose the colours now and its so hard especially not being able to be in the room and see how much natural light comes through to know if you should go darker or not! You must be really excited My Home Group build thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=77067 Re: Stoneleigh Dale Alcock Baldivis: Keys 20th Nov 560Nov 17, 2015 12:54 pm Thank you Jdvee, Trixee, OHB, Kait-e & Koll. Kait-e- I don't know how I would have went deciding our colours at prestart, I am still trying to decide and the painter starts next week. Have you chosen your colours yet? Trixee I do love the doors painted white and I love them how you have left them too... either way they are a nice feature. You had me second guessing if we should paint them- sometimes this forum puts a few too many ideas in mind! OHB- very lucky us. I am so glad we changed, great minds think alike! Koll I am so excited... I have been very busy organising everyone so it didn't really kick in yet that it is only 3 days until you said so! It has really creeped up on me and these few weeks have flown by, which is good! We have the tinting for the front windows organised for this friday arvo; The painter coming in next Monday; Our reverse osmosis water filter is getting installed Tuesday Next week; Timber floors booked for the 7th Dec; Carpets booked for the following Monday; Plus a whole load of appointments for quotes next week. I have organised our appliances to be delivered to our current house too next week. This wasn't the plan but we will just move them over when we move in |
