These last few messages have made me realise I probably need to have it done and I didn't realise it wasn't included (yay another expense!). If no, how much did Sarking cost? These last few messages have made me realise I probably need to have it done and I didn't realise it wasn't included (yay another expense!). If no, how much did Sarking cost? Its mandatory for BASIX in NSW unfortunately there is no cost specified in the tender because it all rolls into the BASIX quote. Re: Coral Homes general build thread 9847Oct 11, 2017 11:40 am Bunnings sells Low to Heavy grade basic sarking for $110 for 81sqm worth... It's really cheap stuff I just want it in there in the event that a roof tile cracks or something... I've emailed Coral asking if they will accept owner supplied Sarking and provide an install price or they will give me a price that fairly represents the cost of the materials. I'll report back Re: Coral Homes general build thread 9848Oct 11, 2017 11:48 am Caydenn Bunnings sells Low to Heavy grade basic sarking for $110 for 81sqm worth... Council too, $200 today for council to approve a driveway. I am scared for next week as apparently we need extra stormwater retention/detention put in as part of the construction Re: Coral Homes general build thread 9853Oct 11, 2017 5:53 pm carrot_stix I'm new this. How do you reply to someone else messages? No Idea if my message submitted. On the thread just hit the arrow below their quote & it will add your mess to the bottom of theirs. You can also send private messages Re: Coral Homes general build thread 9854Oct 11, 2017 6:22 pm Anyone else got a call from head office requesting feedback on 'How are you finding Coral?'How is the communication? etc" We got a call from our new CSO who introduced herself and said that HO is seeking feedback from customers. Apparently they are finally going to do something about the cr@p happening in NSW. Does anyone know who MGO is? This is the interior designer we have been given. Also any tips for colour appointment? We are doing our beaumonts appointment next week. Thanks 😊 Re: Coral Homes general build thread 9857Oct 11, 2017 7:26 pm mj-mac4 Hi everyone, we have a colour appointment booked for a few weeks time. Does anyone know who MGO is? Thanks 😊 If you have a chance go to The Colour Selections place in Qld. I would have done it in a heart beat had I known it was an option. Take samples, photos and make sure you check the paperwork. We missed so many things, it's overwhelming if you're not prepared. Our consultant was useless but it was down in Newcastle. She made no suggestions at all and somethings like niches and details of other things were overlooked and by the time we realised it was too late without making expensive Variations. Be careful with different packages and upgrades too. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13745 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 1766 |
