I am concerned that the land around my HSTP tank has sunk. Who's responsible for that Coral or the HSTP installer? Ignore the garage door colour though, this is meant to be timber look. the visualiser has limestone looking waaaaaaaay too light for our colour scheme. Bricks are blackbutt. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I think the visualiser is sorry we gave up on it as our house colours looked hideous fingers crossed it's not right & limestone def don't look like that heading off shortly once kids packed so will take pic Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ This is limestone roof tiles Thanks heaps browndog! That doesn't look anything like the crappy visualiser haha. That has really helped us decide. We will think about it tonight but doesn't seem an issue with Coral if we want to change to the next shade this early on in the process. Re: Coral Homes general build thread 9835Oct 08, 2017 6:26 pm For anyone who may have ordered furniture from Amart! Watch out for new deals if you haven't received delivery. We ordered the Juniper lounges for our family room a little while ago. We went in today to look at outdoor furniture and they were on a different sale. Our Sale: $886 for both. New Sale: $900 for both with free accent chair worth $399.95. We asked and where able to change to the new deal as the lounges haven't been delivered yet! So we got the chair below for $14!! Starting to feel like we have bitten off more than we can chew... Certification is ready to go ahead now the DA is approved. For this, we need to sort out a few things. Man this is so baffling for first timers! Some surprises which I wouldn't mind getting some feedback on from you guys: Council driveway approval. This is the first time I have heard of this requirement. It is a $200 fee to get council to approve a driveway...which happens to cross an easement for services laid during the subdivision. In all our excitement, we didn't really think about how the easement would impact us. I have just reached out to our concreter for his opinion. i.e. what are our options should the council or utilities want to rip up our driveway? Can a section be built into it that can be removed easily should the need arise? We need some extra stormwater retention/detention because the 8000L water tanks aren't sufficient...Coral are going to provide costs soon and I am a little concerned the cost is going to be $$$$. Fingers crossed Trees are FINALLY being chopped down this weekend, however the big gum tree can't go yet because council say it needs to get official approval since it straddles our boundary with council land. Another $103 lol Re: Coral Homes general build thread 9837Oct 09, 2017 11:20 pm dougang287 So regional guy very embarrassed about our house. Hubby has next week off and a lot of tradies coming back. I assume that somewhere in your contract or specifications it will stipulate that sarking is to be done. Looks like they've run out and didn't think that anyone would notice. In NSW I think sarking is part of basics requirements but not sure for other states. You should check your detail drawings, it may show downpipe within brick pier. 14 8592 Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck.
