Wow was that the top grade stuff? I may cinsider at that price lol No, I believe that's the base standard thickness product as I think it can also be supplied in 80mm, 100mm, 110mm & 130mm thicknesses. Can I ask did you have that in lieu of the ceiling bats? Re: Coral Homes general build thread 4769Jul 17, 2016 4:43 pm Can I please ask if anyone has any pics of their completed WIP, can I please ask for you to post them up here. I have forgotten what the shelves are made of and how they will look. Having one of those days where I am second guessing things. Re: Coral Homes general build thread 4771Jul 17, 2016 4:50 pm I went and posted it to my own thread instead of the general thread! Duh! Re: Coral Homes general build thread 4773Jul 17, 2016 5:05 pm Thanks so much. I went yesterday to the display house and the shelves were like this. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I really had in my head they were like your oldies and Lisa, to my relief. I am hoping to ask to adjust the distances between them so 2 of them will line up with the top of the bench of a cupboard we are getting installed, and the other at the height of the tile line above the cupboard. I think this will be easier to achieve with what you guys have, and not like what is in the display. I am supplying my own downlights (44) and wondering how anyone else has done it? Our plan has batten lights because our salesman told us not to buy through clipsal but I hear you get a credit if you go from batten fittings to downlights. I only have one batten and that is outside in the space where i'll have my clothesline, dont need anything fancy for that. The only other thing i didnt owner supply was a spotlight that is attached to one end of the garage wall outside. Technically you get a credit, but then they'll charge you for the installation of the downlights anyway. I think i was charged like $70 per downlight(plus my own cost of downlights) Avoca 25 in Gainsborough Greens Gold Coast viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81406 Re: Coral Homes general build thread 4778Jul 18, 2016 11:30 am Yeah I thought that and that's not cheap! I'm waiting for a call from the electrician so hopefully he doesn't want to charge me too much!! Von how many downlights did you go in each bedrooms? I put 2x cfl's in my garage, and rest around house, alfresco and portico. I got 36 downlights altogether. I was going to get all my lights installed after handover and have coral just put in battens, but my electrician would have charged me to uninstall the battens anyway so figured i wouldnt be getting a better deal. If you have a sparky in the family or a mate it would probably be better to get them installed post handover Avoca 25 in Gainsborough Greens Gold Coast viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81406 Re: Coral Homes general build thread 4780Jul 18, 2016 11:49 am We got credited the cost of the batten which was about $66? And then paid for the extra to install the owner supplied which from memory was around $100? Or to get them to supply the lights $150ish. So was about $35 per light change which like von said was just easier to do than uninstalling the battens. We are getting recessed leds I think they are called? About $20 each and if the put the battens on timber we would have holes in the roof to patch so worth it to pay the extra. But save a lot owner supplying. We got basics one in each room etc my dad brother and bil are sparkies so will do the rest after handover got a few extra power points and tv points etc and still cost us $1700! Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13771 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish.
