We have heard varying stories from different flooring places - some say it's the best, others say there are better out there, others say that there is no difference in brands. We are looking at putting laminate upstairs in 3 bedrooms and a living area, as well as on the stairs. We also want 12mm if possible with a waterproof version. Hi there Adelaide Girl, I prefer Quickstep.... but that's just my opinion. 12mm is the best way to go with any floating floor, less drum when you walk on it with heals. Also, because you are looking to do it upstairs, upgrade your underlay so it helps to keep that drum down from underneath.
