Nanokote says it is suitable for ceramic tiles while EnduroShield both ceramic and porcelain. Wondering whether Nanokote is effective on porcelain? Are both products the same thing? Many thanks! Re: Nanokote vs EnduroShield on tiles 2Jul 28, 2014 2:53 pm Waist of money imo. Have tried both and I was not happy with results. Still leaves hard water on the tiles and glass. In saying that it is easier to clean off though but since I have not re applied it I can not see the difference in maintenance and that was 6 years ago. The water stopped beading after a few weeks so that tells you a lot I guess. Re: Nanokote vs EnduroShield on tiles 4Feb 09, 2015 8:59 am I will share with you what does work. No need for any sealer just use Magic cook top stove glass cleaner you can buy at coles or woolworths every 6 months or so. Pre wet the glass then apply the cleaner and agitate. I like to use the small triangle sander just put on a white scour pad and let it do the work for you. Caution not to get the sander wet as it uses electricity . I think a battery operated sander would be safer. It will clean your glass just like new. Re: Nanokote vs EnduroShield on tiles 5Feb 09, 2015 2:52 pm Never ever use sander or any type of scourer on glass, it may well clean it but you ruin the surface so it gets dirtier quicker as you scratch and expose the pores of glass more. Try using rainex on your showers as it applies a film to help close up the pores of the glass and is very cheap just reapply whenever water stops beading. What ever coating you put on your glass most so called bathroom cleaners will just strip it off when you clean, if you use any type of coating only use mild soaps or white vinegar with a smooth microfibre cloths NO SCOURERS Firstly the ableflex that has been installed needs (manufactures specification) a sealant cap over the top, preventing water draining down between the slab and the… 3 7780 Our house was completed 8 years ago.
