Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering 1 Jul 26, 2014 6:06 pm Hi all We have a not toilet trained dog and so have opted to rip up carpets in our unit and get the concrete polished to make waterproof from her "spills" Our quote is as follows Grind to full expose the aggregate Regrout and patch up the holes Polish the floor up to 200 grades smooth finishes Buff and clean floor Seal with 5 coats of water based sealer Wondering if anyone can advise if this is all standard or would they advise different sealer? Re: Concrete Polishing 3Aug 19, 2014 3:15 pm It does sound like an excessive number of coats of the sealer, did they say what sealer they were going to use and give you a reason why you need 5 coats? Contraction joints are at 3m max for a 125 slab. Thanks 0 10940 |
