Hi everyone...
Considering two options (needed for 18MJ wok burner + two burner + induction - Siemens - anticipating 1.2 m wide rangehood needed to cover the cooktops)
1. Getting 2 side by side 73 cm wide under cupboard rangehoods
Siemens: http://www.siemens-home.com.au/products ... 5564P.html
or...
Neff: http://www.estrading.com.au/neff-stainl ... d-d5855x0/
Each is a twin motor (so 4 motors in total) - 650 m3/h each (so 1300 m3/h total if the effect is additive... although I note on the Schweigen website for their twin motor setup although each motor sucks 650 m3/h independantly, together its only rated for 1100 m3/h) http://www.schweigen.com.au/twin-extern ... e-650.html.
Total coverage would be 140 cm wide. ~38 cm deep.
OR:
2. Getting a Qasair Universal rangehood: http://www.condari.com.au/products/universal/
Twin motor rated for 1800 m3/h total.
Total coverage can be 120 cm or 150 cm wide. ~43 cm deep.
Getting the 2 x Neff/Siemen ranges would likely be cheaper. They are euro rated to certain ES standards, although the Aussie Qasair unit is not (i.e. I wonder how accurate/comparable the 1800 m3/h measurement is). Qasair deeper front to back for better coverage of the cooktops. Heard about some complaints regarding condensation with induction and Qasair units however...
Opinions appreciated!
