Have been waiting around for the past week of doing anything Unfortunately they have known about this since mid December however only now has anyone picked it up My neighbour then started construction and for some reason, I don't know how, they built with 4.5m setback and so I told my sales during tender process and he just took my word for it but they didn't Re site and so when we went to CDC they asked it to be resite. So they cut corners and we delayed and need to be resite. In hindsight, delays helped up as were able to bring house forward by 2m and build a pool and when the sales consultant presented the tender, they drew the house with the new setback but they didn't go back to estimating and they tried to charge me extra 3k or so in cut and fill as a PCV after contract signing but I told them I'm not paying since it was there mistake so saved some money. I still don't understand how my neighbour got away with a 4.5m setback as I thought the CDC rules were black and white and takes average setbacks of neighbours unless no neighbour within 40m. If someone has the answer, please share. Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 9393Feb 16, 2018 6:46 am To avoid a resite W suggested they move my front door to the side of the house so it faces a different direction. I was astounded that this contract is for $1.6M for house only and it would be acceptable to have a front door along the side of my house. At the moment no one returns my calls or emails so will be interesting to see what comes back. To be honest yesterday I wanted to pull the pin and go with another builder but we have already paid our 10% deposit. Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 9399Feb 16, 2018 7:57 am Manhattan52 I have requested it but no one getting back to me When we had bigger issues with the CSR\admin, like slowness of process, wrong variations and a variation charge which uncover for over 6 months, I sent email and discuss my issues with the CEO. Then the CEO, email back and introduce me to the CSR manager, the CSR manager talk to me and sort out the problem. Like, W didn't charge us for the variation (6 months old, because the CSR missed the paper trails and so on). Then finally my CSR improve his service, like the CSR will call me first for any update or concerns then follow up by emails.
