For those who had swimming pool or building swimming pool, did you PA for additional piering?
How much is it?
Thanks for you time guys.

Yes, there was pool piering and house piering separate. WH totally screwed me around on house piering quote. The way they quote is odd because they give u a fixed price or provide a PA and make u choose. Initially they wanted to charge about 8k PA and 7k fixed or so. I queried this as Wisdom Pools said the piering should cost 1-2k at most. Ultimately they reduced the fixed cost to 5k but I asked them to put a PA for 2k only. The pool is 30cm from the home and I also had to do piering for the pool itself which there as a 4k PA for. Yet to actually find what the cost is of the piering.
For those who had their piering complete. When were u told of cost
I was told of our piering cost at time of engineer plans just prior to end panel.
I asked before DEP but my CSR and myself completely forgotten, so I follow up last week and we got today the PA, and our status is on slab stage.
Do you think the price is fair? for $3950 I am guessing it is fixed price.
I've lost faith with their quoting for piering. Basically they charged me for about 55 piers at 2.5m when the reality was that I would only need 5 piers at 2.5m. They quote u a fixed price of worst case. It's a money grab
Yeah it is a money grab. I thought the $2.5k piering was excessive for us at the time but right at the end of the admin journey we accepted as we just wanted to get the hell out of there.
Seems like they are cashing in even more now.
In the contract it tells u that it's about $80 per lineal metre for extra piering as well so shouldn't be costing you 500 a pier
