Are they the sparkly ones? Jordann your house is coming along nicely! We paid our tender deposit today.. Prices have gone up again- $2500 for a KDRB and got told by SC that they are about to increase their prices - by $17,000. For all the money they're charging.. I hope their admin process gets a little faster. Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 7548Sep 20, 2017 8:34 pm tjuls Love the tiles Rocchet. Are they the sparkly ones? Got my basix certificate back and now they need to do the hydraulic design, however i'm only being told now that I need a licensed plumber to confirm that a pipeline is located within the easement, it's size etc.. Really wish they had told me earlier so i could have got this prepared without delay. For those who are construction, do you have any recommendations that you can share and roughly how much they charged you? thanks ! Doosra, how long did it take for your BASIX cert? I have not heard anything abt this pipeline issue, but may be they will ask me too - no idea yet. What a fun day! :- changed the island last minute to Bianco Drift from Clamshell. & the bathroom cabinetry from Sepia Oak to Natural Walnut! apparently they wont do laminex for kitchen & polytec for bathroom. We asked to quote every single things as advised by the consultant, now waiting for the quote which take a while because we changed the island sink to different brand. Happy with colour choices. Tiles - what a lovely consultant who gave us some good tips, it was a breeze as we were ready with our selections & options. Waiting for the quotes now!! Landscaping :- I believe its a bit of a stretch. we are only looking to get the driveway to be done with wisdom however we wanted to know what else we can do. I believe the consultant went on n on with extending the retaining wall. deck through out and everything pebbles & steps. In the entire 150sqm he suggested to laying turf on10sqm. I think $$ wise its not practical or affordable. Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 7558Sep 21, 2017 11:15 am aaron2008 We finished our Kitchen & tiles. We did the same with our kitchen sink - we got our kitchen plans and quote about 2 days after we signed off the colours variation that included the kitchen sink. No-one told us that the kitchen plans would be held until then so thought I would share that with you. We had our kitchen appt 3 weeks before colours, then it was 3 weeks to get colours variation so as you can imagine I got stressed out at why it took so long! Lovely choices! Can I ask where are the appointments/ colour selections at? I know from here, people have Tiles/floors at Di Lorenzo, kitchens at Timpelle or Knebel ( do you get assigned one or can you choose), bathroom tapwares at Reece.. any other ones? Bricks? I'm hoping to go in a few times and check out the selections, soak in the options and then make a choice, rather than go in to the appointments blindly. Hopefully this will minimise variations as well. Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 7560Sep 21, 2017 12:28 pm Hi all, We have our contract signing appointment this weekend. I have received the contract and was wondering if there’s any thing specific I need to look at, or if there is anything specific I should negotiate? Cheers Can someone please offer some advice?
