Looking forward to seeing the fencing removed and the turf down watering the turf everyday is a huge job!!!! We were there for 3 hours yesterday and another 2.5 hours today. Won't be so bad after we move in but sitting around doing nothing whilst waiting to move the sprinklers is frustrating when you know there's so much inside that you could be doing lol. A word of advice, if you have recycled water taps make sure they give you the tap keys from inside the house before the turf is laid. We've had to use our good water all weekend as our SS forgot to leave them out Friday for us. Also keep an eye on your render/bricks whilst the landscaping is being done. We noticed a massive gouge out of render and some other marks that weren't there during PCI which we will talk to our SS about tomorrow. When we were at the house today we installed the numbers on our letterbox and our neighbours have been working hard all weekend getting the back fence up it's looking great. :-D Modified Miami 31- Brighton Homes https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=91265&f=31&p=1789112#p1789112 Re: Regatta 2920 (Planbuild -Brisbane) - PCI next week! 135Aug 04, 2014 1:28 pm Ps out of all the sprinklers we've bought, we found the small cheap metal ones and a mist hose the most effective. We took all the expensive ones back to Bunnings for a refund, they were rubbish. :-D Modified Miami 31- Brighton Homes https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=91265&f=31&p=1789112#p1789112 Re: Regatta 2920 (Planbuild -Brisbane) - PCI next week! 136Aug 04, 2014 1:37 pm kailie86 Ps out of all the sprinklers we've bought, we found the small cheap metal ones and a mist hose the most effective. I was just trying to figure out what I should buy By mist hose, do you mean a soaker hose (the ones with the little holes in them)? Big W are $7 Kmart are like $4 from memory for 7.5m. Oh and for a decent quality hose at a reasonable price 15m Pope dark blue "Slam Dunk" at bunnings (if you can find any that have stock) comes with a sprayer and tap fitting for $19. You must be getting so excited to move in. Seeing as though everything's pretty much done, it won't be long after PCI before you get the keys!!!!! I'd say you'll have them by next Friday We've sent them an email tonight just to make sure that everything is set for handover on their side of things. We went and picked up the bank cheque yesterday noticed today that we are still waiting on our aircon to be installed, some plumbing fixed up out the front (there's a bendy pipe sticking up out of the ground still that SS said plumbers had to do something with) and they've got the final clean still to do. Our SS also said that GC city council can be really picky when they're signing things off (plumbing failed the first time because of something to do with recycled water tap) so really hoping that's all sorted and we get the keys at 2pm on Friday like organised. Everythings set and organised for moving in Saturday and I've got a couple of days off work early next week so we can unpack and get settled a bit good luck for PCI!!! :-D Modified Miami 31- Brighton Homes https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=91265&f=31&p=1789112#p1789112 Re: Regatta 2920 (Planbuild -Brisbane) - PCI Friday @ 9am! 140Aug 05, 2014 9:16 pm Home looking very close to complete ..
