We were at lock up at the same time, but there is a lot of things that their builder may not be doing. My build: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=68002 Re: Sharon's Build with HGWA- ..........tiling Photos....... 1151Aug 22, 2014 12:32 am A love your choice of windows . We spend so much on a house sometimes we forget to do our homework on the windows . My aim is to clean my windows before my 6 mon . I also won't everything finish inside before then . But the way my partner is going . We will never get there . I think 6 mon check should be 1 year instead .but then I guess it will take even longer for trades to come in and finish things . Re: Sharon's Build with HGWA- ..........tiling Photos....... 1152Aug 22, 2014 9:04 am The frames are white In the family, dining and kitchen area we want it to be more open to the outside (without paying for BI-Folds). we are not having blinds on those windows or doors, but the patio will be coming off that side out the house giving us protection from the sun and rain. In doing the patio there we will be losing light, so the more windows the better. Re: Sharon's Build with HGWA- ..........tiling Photos....... 1153Aug 23, 2014 1:58 am I can see why you're doing it you've got loads of lovely space to that side of the house to play with - it'll be great! I don't have curtains or blinds in my kitchen here either - I can look out on my (tiny!!) garden and it always feels light and 'open'. This all makes a lot of sense. I guess when you talk to a builder who butters up everything to look very polished, you get to start believing… 7 17581 Hi, did you get any money from insurance? if you did, does it match what you've already paid the builders? 3 9565 |
