We've just signed contracts so will hopefully doing colours in the next couple of weeks. Other half ruled out black windows when we first started looking at colours with our original builder (he uses colourbond at work and finds lots of the blacks fade after a few years)
All well and good - I find myself looking at the complete opposite anyway - crisp white windows. I was imagining a surfmist garage door, white windows, a mid/pale toned brown brick (something like austral linseed) some sort of darker roof, and a darker render for the portico to tie it all together, and I can't let go of having a splash of fresh green for the front door.
I have been vetoed. Apparently white windows will look crap and a surfmist garage door is not practical and will just get filthy!
I'm really hoping to avoid brown tones inside, looking at warm greys instead - so what would be a good option that would suit both inside and out?
Or do you just choose for outside and cover inside with curtains/blinds. We'll have one window that will be bare (splashback) so will see at least one.
Edit to add they are from the standard A&L colour range in Vic
