I signed over 5 weeks ago, and have just been told we won’t handover for another 3 weeks (minimum). This makes handover 2 months after PCI. Has anyone had similar issues regarding delays after PCI? Contract states "Any minor items and defects found at PCI will be rectified by the builder as soon as practicable following the inspection" What time frame is practical? Once you've signed off on PCI they've received 97% of their money. Not a lot of incentive to give your last jobs any priority. Your best bet is to keep on to your SS and let him know if your displeasure. Most delays are due to the SS not booking in Tradies. Good luck, here's hoping you get the keys soon. We have 2.7m ceilings and upgraded to the 'tall' kitchen cupboards. We were expecting the cupboard bulkhead to be flush with the ceiling bulkhead but it's slightly recessed. Is that 'normal'?
