Masterton Overture 17/12/14 - Handover ...... we got the keys !! blog - http://www.mcnamaraadventure.blogspot.com Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 13714Apr 30, 2017 4:35 pm Hi Everyone, First off have to say this has been an awesome thread to understand about the building process. We are building with Masterton as well and have just locked up! To date, we've popped onto the site to have a look around for anything odd, however it never occurred that we should organise a professional inspector to come through and look at things. To date, our SS has been good in keeping us informed and telling us what's going on and have had good progress. Wanted to put the question out there if anyone else used an independent inspector ? Recommendations for the Sydney area and is it too late for me to pick up any major issues because we've locked up already? Thanks in advanced!! Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 13715Apr 30, 2017 7:35 pm Never too late justinh84 what area are you? If you're out Penrith way ours was pretty good. His report has come in handy as I'm still waiting for things to get fixed 10 months (this is how c r a p Masterton are) after keys but it's a good way to ensure it's documented at the time Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 13716Apr 30, 2017 10:49 pm Thanks MGardz!! Looking forward to that stage... I'm just worried we are going to miss things and it will be too late or hard to fix!! We are building in th southwest Sydney near Bankstown - I'll take your recommendation as they can usually give an recommendation if they don't service the area. Feel free to PM me if it can't be posted. Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 13718May 01, 2017 11:09 am Jason it was just through Jim's his name is DarrenFlemming. Kly525 we did I think it was nearly $2k Wow really for the 1 door only? Was this because you originally had a 2 door and opted for 3 doors. We have 3 panels as standard but opening is in the middle. Just want to make sure I'm not being overcharged Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 13720May 01, 2017 11:22 am No stackers here Kly525, sorry can't help. We kept the standard 4 panels with centre opening.
