I'm hoping the two sliding doors at the back (in the 3rd photo) are the same height at the top as they look different in this pic. We made sure they were in one of our many tender feedback changes. Ill need to go and double check as I only noticed it looking at the photos 😬👊🏼 Wanna swap houses I want your views. To me they looked grey, dull and boring. LOVE them now dry. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Formwork and concrete poured for our second dwelling (oversized granny flat). Looking good martinsharmony you'll be in before you know it. I like my dry bricks way better than my wet bricks too Anyway bathrooms really coming together so thought I owe you a pic. I'm pretty positive you won't regret your decision to do these tiles. They are amazing. I've had so many complements too. I'm sorry to see you are STILL fighting issues with M! I haven't been here for a while, I've had a little bit of a flick through every now and then. I must say I used to find this forum so helpful and was always excited to check up on everyone's progress but it all seems so negative now 😔 and I'm sorry to hear this! I built a villina 28 with masterton in 2014/15 and we sold towards the end of last year for a nice price 😀 and have since bought another block and started building again...... with Masterton 😜 Why?!! Our first build felt like it took forrrrrrrrever, but looking back, that was mostly impatience, along with a painful SS (who no longer works for M yay!) but in reality, we had very minimal issues, even after we moved in. Our 90 days warranty list was small, and apart from an air conditioner problem (which was fixed straight away, for free outside of warranty) our house is perfect! So we really couldn't knock M out off the list because of "problems". We did the display house walk throughs again and looked at floor plans online, but couldn't walk past how open and big masterton homes are! Nothing else ticked all the boxes! Along with price and inclusions, we just couldn't go past them! So far, second time round is a breeze!! The tender & planning stage was quick, we went into construction right on Christmas break so had to wait until they got back, but we are fully bricked, with a roof and insulation and gyprock have been delivered, expecting to be at lock up in the next week or so. There is always something happening which is so nice to see! This time, with more budget than our first house, it's been nice to spend and our main differences are: we are building one storey - the concerto elite. We have a proper alfresco area, which we wished we had done in our villina, laminate flooring instead of tiles, floor to ceiling tiling in the bathrooms with feature tile walls, proper laundry fit out, higher ceiling and door heights along with a raked ceiling and moroka and render to the front. We are sticking to the same colour scheme, greys, charcoals and whites but have added in some touches of timber and concrete look. We are super excited to see it all come together and looking forward to sharing our journey again and watching all of your homes come together! We have been renting out home from the new owners for the past 6 months, but officially move out in a couple of weeks so it's only starting to hit home now that this home is no longer ours! Magavin, I LOVE LOVE LOVE your tiles, my husband would never agree though lol. Good to hear you have been happy with your end product and the process for the newer build so far. The Concerto is lovley, we looked at Concerto and Harmony very closely for a while. Where abouts are you building? Magavin - THANKS so much for the updated pics. Your bathroom really looks amazing. Cannot wait to see how our bathroom turns out with the same tiles. I didn't think with the abundance of rain overnight that we'd have any action on our block, however I was pleased to see a few trucks on site when I drove past this morning. Fascia and guttering going on. I'm thrilled to see my exterior colour choices coming together, I agonised over them for so long. I found external colours SO MUCH HARDER than internal. I think our choice of Colorbond Dune for fascia and guttering really compliments our PGH Stone bricks. It is unfortunately too wet today for the plumbing to get underway on our second dwelling. Hopefully they will be back after Easter ... also hoping for a few days of sunshine to dry out the block.
