When you get a bill - pay it - send a copy to your construction coordinator and they will raise a credit against your final account. I hope this clears this up for you all Sandy In our case, we had no electricity connected till we got keys. Each tradie brought their own generator or battery powered. Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 1180Mar 25, 2014 1:13 pm allyman Hi folks, It has been a while since I posted and I have been very frustrated with the slow progress of our build. Finally our roof was done last Saturday. We had issues with incorrectly cut roof trusses, and then the brickies didn't seem to know what they were doing with our brick so we had to get PGH to come out and inspect to ensure they were laying them correctly, blah, blah. This is where we are currently at with our Symphony MBTF. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I hope it progresses a bit quicker from this point. I am always aggrieved that we started before our neighbours, three with Eden Brae and one with MDJ and they have all now overtaken us. Our direct neighbour with EB is at full lock up, completely gyprocked and with kitchen and laundry installed. They almost always have a horde of trades there as opposed to our couple, and they work Saturdays too it seems. That's why I was very surprised to see they did our roof on a Saturday. I have come to expect the bare minimum from Masterton, sadly. I guess it isn't a race to the finish, we just want the job done properly. I think we did get unlucky with the frame that cost us over a week of valuable time. We have got into the habit of visiting daily and being disappointed when nothing happens. So last week I decided to not be so worried about it, and try and put it out of my mind entirely, and they got further than I expected. Murphy's law of course. Ally Hi allyman and fingalbrad, take heart - we are doing a Symphony MBTF as well, paid deposit 2 June and only signed final contract validation yesterday - so we are miles behind. Had a few dramas with sewer peg out and ultimately had to demolish first so they could get a mini excavator in to dig and complete the sewer pegout. The 20 (business) day count down has finally begun - but I note we run into Easter and Anzac day!
