Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Harvest View Estate - Epping 21Jul 08, 2014 5:34 pm Yes! actually I emailed Rishav @land sales office today to ask if he knew anything, he said they would be deciding soon and he will let me know once he knows. I also asked him about the trees for our nature strips, I noticed the new stage 2 land has trees on their nature strips already and was hoping we would be getting some too - waiting for him to get back to me. let you know if I hear anything. Cheers Re: Harvest View Estate - Epping 22Aug 06, 2014 1:16 pm Rach or anyone else building/built in Harvest View Have you been told we are in a flood prone area? I have just started getting insurance quotes and most are telling me that Tesselaar Road is considered a flood prone area and as a result the quotes are ridiculous. I called the council and they told me that our estate is not considered a flood prone area. Just wondering how you guys got one?? The best I have had was $4,200 a year, for a four bedroom home. I do recall reading something to that effect when we were looking tho. I think it might have been at some stage (when it was swamp land with no drainage) but I believe the area was re-classified a while back. We are with AAMI and pay under $1000, perhaps give them a try. Re: Harvest View Estate - Epping 24Aug 06, 2014 1:36 pm Thanks Rach I will give them a call. Not long now till we move cross fingers Mid Sept. I spoke to Rishav today but he was unable to tell me any more about the old school site. We walked past yesterday afternoon, looks great! have you met any of the neighbors? there is a few on your street now. Yep - Rishav told me they will be deciding after the new part (to the left of the land office) is complete.. but to be honest it would be bad business not to have that land earmarked for something else, so I think its only a matter of time before they fill us in. he also told me the nature strip trees will probably get done when the release 3 is done (down the end near the freeway), so it could be a while. Re: Harvest View Estate - Epping 26Sep 02, 2014 7:08 am Hi All,
It used to be quiet here before! My husband and I purchased a land in Harvest Views Stage 3 (the one with trees, it's taking a long time for them to title) Regarding the piece of land between Stage 1 and 3, Rishav mentioned when we signed the contract in November 2013 that the council requires more parking spaces if they will build a school (school causes traffic and it's going to be in the main road) that's why developers didn't push through. I'm just not sure now that they changed the street name if they can build it. That school/church is actually one of the factors we want to live in that area, so hopefully they will! We will be building with 8 homes btw Re: Harvest View Estate - Epping 27Sep 04, 2014 1:13 pm Hi Klaguerta, welcome to Harvest view From what I have heard the school / church is definitely not going ahead on that site (where the land office is), but who knows. I look forward to hearing from Rishav as to what this might be. He mentioned to us a couple of months back that they will make a decision on what to do with this land once your stage is titled. Hopefully that wont be too long for you. We had a bit of a delay in the land titles too, seems to be a common issue. We bought the land in April and were told it would be titled in 2 weeks, it wasn't actually titled until August. fingers crossed yours moves a bit faster. While we are on here, does anyone know what is happening with the actual road into our estate? at the moment it is closed (with detour in place), my husband and I walked through it last night and it looks like new roads are going in and meeting up at the traffic lights? @Sands - you mentioned a realignment of Harvest Home Rd in an earlier post, do you know what this entails? Cheers Re: Harvest View Estate - Epping 28Sep 04, 2014 4:04 pm Hey Rach+ed and Klaguerta, I haven't heard from Rishav again regarding the school site but my uneducated guess would be more houses. I see they have started work on the soccer field and development on the other side of it. Harvest home is going to run on a angle through Klaguertas land release away from edgars. What is currently Tesselaar Road will be ripped up until just after the bridge and turned into wet land and a footpath frim memory. Rach we will have to drive through the new release land to get back to Tesselaar. Aurora have an updated plan on their site. We also went there this weekend, and saw the roads they're working on Thanks for the welcome, can't wait to live there next year Re: Harvest View Estate - Epping 30Oct 08, 2014 4:44 pm Oh that is great news! I keep driving past expecting to see the temporary builders fences up, any day now I guess. Good luck with it all. Its all changing sooooo quickly. Re: Harvest View Estate - Epping 31Oct 08, 2014 7:41 pm I can't believe how much the area has changed in the 12 months since we brought in the estate. Hopefully we will have our keys tomorrow. We walked past your place last night and saw the lights on and I wondered if you were in already. There is definitely a lot of exciting things happening, we are surprised at how quickly the soccer fields are coming along and the community center is looking good. Re: Harvest View Estate - Epping 33Oct 13, 2014 9:48 am hope everything's going well with moving in sands! any of you had a problem with neighbors re fencing? water lines are in on our lot lol those little progress excites me we might be one of the first ones to start construction Re: Harvest View Estate - Epping 34Oct 13, 2014 3:14 pm Thanks Klaguerta The big move is this Saturday. The landscaper is on site today and concreteing and fences booked for next week pending fencing issues being resolved. We have had.......points of concern with our neighbours and fences but seem to almost be at a resolution. My advice would be keep communicating and keep it friendly. Rach coukd I ask a small favor if you see our council bins on one of your walks coukd you shot me a message thanks. I didn't notice them when I went past this morning but will keep an eye out. Good luck with it all. Re neighbours and fences - it's such an age old problem! We were lucky with our neighbours on the left but our back fence meets with aurora owned land and that proved a bit of a battle (which we lost) but we found the best way to get a response was to issue a 'intent to fence' letter along with a quote. Perhaps try that if u aren't getting a response. Re: Harvest View Estate - Epping 36Nov 13, 2014 5:54 am So the harvest home road deviation seems to be incredibly slow. Don't think I ve seen a worker there vin weeks. Klaguerta are you one pf the lucky ones who is having their site cut at the moment? I reckon they will have to get on it soon tho, the intersection is getting busier by the day, so they surely need to turn the traffic lights on soon. How are you settling in Sands? Are you enjoying the new surrounds? Re: Harvest View Estate - Epping 38Nov 14, 2014 9:55 pm Rach, we are loving being up here, I can't believe how quite it is in the evenings and the dog loves getting out for walks as well. Only a couple of boxes left to go now, the ones full of stuff you really wish you didn't bring with you and don't have a clue where it goes. We should have a lawn by the end f next week.
