This is my site yesterday when putting the storm water in. It was delayed a few days after they tried with a smaller excavator and they couldn't get the rock out. I think I asked for it from memory. Apparently hitting rock is common in the west so made sure I was covered for worst case scenario. Thanks Dave. I hope arden will fixed site costs for me as well during tender since soil tests won't be possible as land titles next year march Re: Arden Developments 1733Oct 10, 2017 10:35 am gags dave398 gags [quote="dave398"]I would highly suggest anyone in the western suburbs make sure rock removal is included in your fixed site costs. I think they either used previous experience of the area or did a soil test before titles. I've heard builders can do soil tests before title and there was a small hole in the ground on my block when it was titled. They obviously price the fixed site costs for worst case scenario and credit back once the site works are actually done.
