Adelaidenow has seen an email from director Charlie Siciliano confirming all projects would immediately cease as the company had finished trading.
"McCraken Homes has stopped trading and are awaiting advice, I need to update you on the options, remember that you have indemnity insurance to cover completion of your home, in your case the property has not been over claimed," the email says.
But the wife of a company owner, who would not identify herself, said "We haven't (stopped trading), nothing is official at this stage."
The company was already under pressure from a potential $700,000 claim from Red Ochre Homes, a housing company also run by McCracken directors Rosario Mario Perre, Carmine Guiseppe Siciliano and Nin Anthony Tripodi that collapsed after its banker, NAB, appointed a receiver to collect funds owed.
Mr Siciliano and Mr Tripodi are also directors of Adelaide Prestige Homes
I know Adelaide is small but hopefully no-one on here is impacted by this.
