Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Minta Farm Berwick 324May 24, 2015 10:37 am Hey guys, no ports in Berwick south exchange and not worth upgrading it, if any provider promising you they all check after you get phone, only waste of time. We have gone for fixed wireless which is ADSL speed, does the job. After us 5 others have gone for it on the street. Look up on the internet for it, but we and after us all of the others have gone for Clear networks. Re: Minta Farm Berwick 329May 26, 2015 11:00 am Not necessarily ours was class P and our site costs were only 8k but they were fixed so not sure if they would have went up because of the class. Re: Minta Farm Berwick 330Jul 07, 2015 3:36 pm Hi All, How is everyone settling in? Question, does anyone know what is happing with the rest of the Minta Farm land? I heard there is a business park going in? If thats correct, does anyone know the details? Is it approved? Is there anyway we can object? I hate the tought of having a business park so close. Re: Minta Farm Berwick 331Sep 16, 2015 5:38 pm Has any registered on below City of Casey broadband register. It is a register of residents and businesses that cannot get ADSL, cable or other high speed internet access. http://www.casey.vic.gov.au/business/re ... d-register Cheers, Re: Minta Farm Berwick 332Sep 16, 2015 8:52 pm unamunam Has any registered on below City of Casey broadband register. I've registered that. Hopefully we could get NBN ASAP. Re: Minta Farm Berwick 334Sep 30, 2015 8:17 pm Hi all, I'm new to Minta Farm. I would love to say that is a beautiful place No internet though, sadly I just signed up to Clear Networks and I'm paying for 6Mbps... I'm getting only 1Mbps due to the heavy traffic from all of us collectively signing up to Clear Networks at Minta Farm. This is only going to get worse (and it means I struggle to do my work properly ). I've sent in a support request to Clear Networks but it hasn't helped. If we all send in a request for them to upgrade their infrastructure then hopefully we won't have to see it get worse in the future. We should be able to enjoy our stay here and live comfortably as planned. Karacik Re: Minta Farm Berwick 335Oct 26, 2015 1:41 pm Hi all, I emailed NBN CO. about getting NBN for minta farm and i was just informed that work towards the service has not commenced in our area yet. Generally an application needs to be put in by the developer for work to commence and our developer (Three Pillars) has not put one in!! This is confusing as we all have a developer requirement to be NBN-ready. I have contacted Three Pillars on the matter. Will keep everyone updated. Re: Minta Farm Berwick 336Oct 26, 2015 9:17 pm Guys, not exciting news but at least good news. http://www.nbnco.com.au/learn-about-the ... -plan.html One of my friend in NBN confirmed it is true. NBN will start to cover most of the suburbs from next year. Search Berwick in above link and you will find the Berwick South project will start in Q4 2016. Hopefully we will be covered. Can anyone confirm if there is at least copper line available on Nixon drive. Because FTTN NBN would be require copper line to connect to home. |
