Do you know of any good garden/landscape designer in Perth? Someone that knows their plants and know what is appropriate for our climate?
I am in Hocking and my backyard needed something to be done for 2 years now =) Pretty much bare soil at the moment.
Had one come over (there were more, but I like only 1) last year. Said - will give you a quote in a couple of days. Then emails me and says that he is too busy and will not help me =(

Check the sticky above.
It lays it out on a platter for you.
Look for the WALDA link.
Nirvana Landscapes also.

Darren Seinor - as seen on TV.
Did our landscaping, top job, soil prep just as per Fu's reccomendations, planted in heat of summer and not one plant lost, turf is going great. Covers plant selection and planting and retic installtion but can also do the hard landscape bits - limestone borders, lattice etc.
Be aware that a lot of the "landscapers" out there are good at hard landscaping but have no idea on soil prep or plant selection

Darren is an excellent landscaper and member of the Horticultural Media Association.
He works closely with Trevor and has come a long way in recent years.
Excellent observation in regard to hardscaping and plant selection.
Sustainable Outdoors is run by one of the Great Gardens Team, Simon Pawley.
Also Nirvana Landscapes is run by a leading expert in edible and sustainable landscapes and gardens, John McWilliams. Also part of Hort media and a Beyond Gardens presenter.
